William Shatner playing himself at a Star Trek conference. Jon Lovitz is sitting in the audience the spock ears on and Shatner says "GET A LIFE, will you people? I mean, for crying out loud, it's just a TV show.."

That skit, along with Carvey's "Chopping Broccoli" and a slew of Murphy skits are the only ones I can even think of that were decent in the 80's.

My all time favorite skit is goatboy with Jim Brewer. Just absolutely hilarious.

Everyone else has listed my favorites.

I guess a more recent favorite of mine was the Debbie Downer one with Lindsay Lohan. The one where everybody just started cracking up. The premise itself was still funny though.

YOU MEAN HOW JIMMY FALLON SCREWED EVERYBODY BY LAUGHING AT THE CAMERA?????

I couldn't stand that skit. It SUCKED.

I also hated the Boston Teens skit, althought the Ben Affleck gay wedding one was pretty decent.

Hardball is a great one though.

I thought of some others...

Eddie Murphy - "I'm Gumby, dammit!"

Land Shark with Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman and Jane Curtin

King Tut with Steve Martin

And I don't know how I forgot this one...Richard Pryor and Chevy Chase doing word association during a job interview...

Rocket
I'm taking a rocket.
I'm packing my suitcase
Hey, look out, Moon!

Yeah, a rocket
into outer space.
Goodbye, human race
I'll be there soon.

Blast off!
For fun and adventure.
There's a fair adventure
collecting stones.

Yeah, it's my way
on the ol' space highway.
That's why they all say
"There goes Astronaut Jones!"

I don't remember who did it, but a guy who played blues on an harmonica and singing "I can't stop my leg" is the best SNL skit I've ever seen.

All the old Steve Martin bits are great. I especially like him as the medival doctor and the King Tut song.

Eddie Murphy playing reggae at the talent show was hilarious.

The Church Lady.

And the "ambiguously gay duo" animated bits.

Honkey! Dead Honkey!

That show was great, was it the same Richard Pryor SNL show that he and Jim Belushi did the samurai hotell thing? "Yo mama san!"

I think so...oh man, that was so good...

Does anyone remember the skit where Ackroyd was a repairman and came into the house with Bill Murray and Gilda Radner, bent over and you could see the crack of his butt sticking out? I remember Gilda and Bill were doing all they could to get through the skit when they just wanted to roll on the floor laughing their butts off. God, that was hysterical.

I remember one that had Tonto and Frankenstein and one other character at Christmas or Thanksgiving that was kinda funny...

And who could forget Mr. Bill?

I think the harmonica one was Garrett Morris...remember him doing Weekend Update for the Hearing Impaired?

Wayne's World, Jeopardy.

Anything that had Mike Meyers, Dana Carvey or Chris Farley in it. I haven't really watched it much since they were on it.
