I'm going but not expecting much. From what I was told Quinn and JFjr will be there answering questions but I wouldn't be surprised to see a few players. I was going to email a question in to Ferguson but figured he would only answer easy ones.

Hopefully I can get close enough to Fergie to kick him in the nuts for signing Domi.

I hope Fergi stamps "return to sender" on it. Domi is an awsome player and is part of attracting some of the guys over to T.O.

This I know is true but I can't understand. What does Tie have to offer that attracts people. Imagine if Peter Forsberg had signed with us:

Press: Peter, why did you decide to sign with the Leafs of all teams?

Peter: Well...I thought about it, and I just wanted to be close and play with world re-known elite power foward Tie Domi. I hope I can be on a line with him.

For the all the years he has played in T.O you still need to be told what his role and value to the team is?

Its obvious.

A Welcome Back meeting?? I hadn't heard anything about it. Is this for season ticket holders only?

You're BOTH right. It's being held on at least 2, possibly 3 days. My Dads going (as he is the one with the tickets) I believe he is going on the 23rd.

Anyone else have some expectations/ suspicions on why they asked all season ticket holders to come on opening night? I'm hoping we get free Jerseys like Ottawa season ticket holders got.

Don't really remember because they didn't include any rookies, just players under contract who have played in the NHL. When I saw it I didn't think this would be the roster out of camp, so I dismissed it. I'm sure someone else was there who remembered.

I got this off of the forum on the official Toronto Maple Leafs site. According to someone witht eh call name "genio9" posted the following this evening.

Quote:
I was at a maple leafs "Meet and Greet" tonight. Because my dad has a box suit and the leafs had a "welcome back". I got autographs from lindros, tucker, sundin, domi, sytler, clark, jfj, quinn! it was awsome! and then JFJ unvaled his "plan" nd his lines.

Here it is... the plan is to "identify, procede, condure and manage"
the Lines are...

Eddie
Telkvist/Aubin

Tucker Sundin O'niell
Poni Alisson Antropove
Kilger Lindross Domi
Belak Stajan Perrot (if signes)

Defence...

Mccabe Khavanov
Kaberle Klee
Berg Pilar/coliacavo

I think it is a pretty stong line up...i am 100% sure thats what it is gonna be. As JFJ showed us
Personally I believe the defensive pairings but am skeptical about the forward lines. Lindros with Domi and Kilger? You have got be kidding. And Ponikarovski isn't signed either. But I guess with Domi, Perrot and Belak playing the Leafs can just beat up the opposition.

I wouldnt mind having Sundin-Allison-Lindros all play centre... if we had a better group of wingers to play with them.. Domi and Kilger on the third line I dont like.. maybe Kilger not Tie.. Keep tie on the 4th line and put Stajan on the third wiht Lindros and Kilger

Tucker-Sundin-Oneill
Ponikarovsky-Allison-Antropov
Kilger-Lindros-Stajan
??????????

Who should play on the 4th line with Domi?
