Beauty. Does that leave Marian as literally our only signing left to make?

Meszaros and Kaigorodov would be nice too! I'm excited to see Eaves play this year...hopefully he'll perform well at camp and earn a spot on the big club this year.

GO SENS GO!!!

Excellent news! I've actually never seen the guy play before, hopefully he plays at least a few games with the big club this year.

Great news! I've gotta think they're gonna sign Meszaros soon too.

Fisher: Then you're in for a real treat. Eaves is an unbelievable player. I'll also say (and I'm sure there'll be more than a few people who wuill disagree with this) that Eaves has heart , passion and determination. I'll never forget that game versus Boston University where he took Kevin Schaeffer's booming slap shot in the chest. Scaheffer has a cannon of a shot and Eaves took ALL of it in the upper chest area. This came on a BU PP when Eaves went down to block Schaeffer's point shot and Eaves somehow was able to clear the puck out of the BC zone before collapsing on the ice. Fortunately, Eaves would be alright, but it's an example of just what kind of player Eaves is. I really like this kid and wasn't at all surprised but saddened that he's leaving BC. I think he'll do very well at the pro level and I wish him all of the best.

I'd appreciate it if you all would keep me posted on his progress in Ottawa or Binghamton (whichever place he ends up at this coming season). Thanks in advance.

Outstanding - Eaves and Meszaros are the two prospects that I'm the most excited about, and it's great that he's signed on for 3 years on a rookie contract. Personally, I believe that Eaves will eventually be a top-6 forward for us, and I can't wait to watch him start to round out his pro game in a Sens uniform.

Although I was expecting him to be signed, this is great news.

Like others, I believe Eaves is the type of player that combines character and skill into an excellent player.

Given the inevitable turnover in a cap environment it would be great to break Eaves into the NHL this season if the budget permits.

Next up has to be Meszaros...and Kaigorodov and/or Mirnov would be nice as well.

Unfortunatly I think Kaigorodov has to come over this year or he will end up staying in Russia, hopefully we can sign him.

Awesome news, I think if we can get Kaigorodov and Meszaros signed it will be earily similiar to the year when the sens brought up havlat, Fisher and Rachunek in 2000-2001. Which was incredible for our team. All three players are similiar matches to one another.

The nice thing about Eaves is that he could fit in well on the 3rd and 4th lines this year, allowing him time to develop without big expectations.

A guy like Kaigodorov may or may not be able to fit in on that kind of line.
