His biggest underrated talent is his hockey IQ. Never out of position defensively or offensively. He makes the right decision 90% of the time in every zone. So reliable.

Gallagher looks better offensively but I think he'll end up like Plek : getting 1st line minutes because we don't have anybody else to play.

No suspension

I definitely thought Buff would get at least 1 game since he has such a history of being an azzclown

Brendan Gallagher (---) How good can he become?

Seriously guys... This guy is a legend and it crossed my mind his value must be through the roof.

And he is 23 years old...

The guy knows were to be, work, pressure, shot, pass, disturb.

Oh yeah and he seem to still be working on his game... Scary. I'm Mindblown...Did i even talked about his Heart? Mind, Blowned.

His Potential? 1st line elite winger.Captain material Olympics Team Canada inspiring regular..

But hey... What about you?

His offensive skills are limited but he has been our most consistent forward this season. Going to the dangerous areas has paid off for him so far

he's got 19 points in 21 games. that includes our hot start but also the ten games since then. that's some solid NHL first liner production.

I think elite first liner is expecting too much. Captain material, olympics? i don' t know, man. that's a bit too optimistic for me. but first line winger is still good.

Getting a call for the world championships will do wonders a player with unlimited motor surrounded by elite canadian players when there is buzz around him.. Each year he adds a little something. Cannot find a better kid for team canada seriously. But again its just my opinion. Perhaps its my bottle of liquor talking. Lol

Hahaha its all good. He is a premium "Marchand" without the antics and less flashy. That i think very few would disagree.

I think he's a good 2nd line winger who could become a first line winger if he keeps playing the way he's currently playing.

I think he's a guy who will get 25 goals and 30 apples a year. I see him having a Brian Gionta type of career. Might get 30/30 one year (could happen this season actually).

As much as I love Gally, I didn't think he should've gotten an A on his jersey but damn.. he's really showing why he's got it.

If he could become a consistent 30-30 player, that would be great. A good 1st line RW or a superb 2nd line RW on a contending team

When I first saw him on the team I thought he was good, but also thought he is going to have a short career. And I still think that.

Thing is with Gallagher is it takes so much effort on his part to produce like he does, it's not sustainable from a physical standpoint. Along with the immense amount of strain on his body from his style of play he has to play with his head up and keep his wits about him, because if he let's his guard down he's going to get rocked, and that'll be it for him.

^Basically this. His skills are very limited, he has no upside, this is his peak. He'll have a few more good years (20g seasons) before settling into a 3rd-4th line role who'll be a good character guy to have on the locker room. Sorry to burst your bubble OP, but the word legend really shouldn't be used so loosely by Canadiens fans.

I think he'll be a regular 45-50pts guy...maybe closer to the high 50s during his prime.

He's been great this season, but I think he's overachieving and benefiting from playing with Pacioretty
