Funny that the Amerks are playing the Blues' farm team.

Unless the listings I saw are wrong (listed Mets/MLB games), it doesn't look like it'll air locally. It's on TV for the other market on The U Too, but IIRC that wasn't listed on their website yet either, so maybe there's hope.

I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be in the listings but you'd think the Amerks would have released an article on their site already if such an arrangement were made.

Yeah, I think if they were airing it, it would have been in the press release with the series schedule.

Check the home finale tweets/recaps. I believe I read that those are the same lines from that game, as the Amerks rested some players in the finale.

Oh Jake Allen is down with the farm right now and not with the big club? Interesting.

Also what's the deal with Bagnall, he hurt? That LHD depth looks pretty weak.

They have Elliott to back up Miller, so why would Allen be up? I believe Jaskin has been a healthy scratch for the Blues though.

Bagnall had season-ending shoulder surgery in mid-March.

Well you usually see teams call up a few extra guys for the playoffs just so they're able to practice with the team and stay with them in case they may be needed. I thought Allen might have been one of those guys. Although for a goalie I suppose actual game experience is better than just practicing and sitting.

Also thanks for the answer on Bagnall. I think I remember hearing that at the time but I didn't remember.

Not when the farm club is in the playoffs. Or, very few at the very least.

Well its listed on a banner on the front page of their website - TV coverage on The U Too - but unfortunately its saying that Game #1 is Thursday, April 24 and not Friday, April 25! Didn't know Chicago was 25 hours behind Rochester! Opps!

Well if theres local TV and if they are going to only televise one game, I hope its Saturdays game since I won't be home to follow it LIVE.
(Has a Bandits game to attend) I can then record the game to watch when I get home.

Wonder if the Amerks are still working on TV coverage? or perhaps they are waiting to announce it say on Thursday so it gives them an extra day or so to sell tickets? Announcing that one of the games or both games are going to be televised locally may slow ticket sales down.

Grigorenko and Adam are on the 4th line? Or are these lines just all mixed up in no particular order?

Either way, I hope some of these kids, Grigorenko in particular, have a big playoff series. I wanna see them win for the sole purpose of getting as manyyyyy games as possible under their belt.

What won't air locally? You talking TV? The first two games not being shown on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel? (I didn't mention TV coverage at all in that post so not sure why ya quoted the whole thing.)

Yeah, it does look like there will be no local TV coverage of the first two games. But perhaps the Amerks are still working out details or like I said earlier, they may be waiting until Thursday to announce things so they have a additional day to sell tickets.

If your talking radio, the games will be on WHAM 1180 AM as I posted. There will be no local radio in Buffalo area but that doesn't matter now that the games are on WHAM 1180 AM as you should be able to pickup the station here.

The second question is the correct one. At one of the practices last week, either Kevin or Rob tweeted that they got the line order from when they did the first drill of practice so in this case the Grigorenko-Adam-Cattenacci line on Monday went fourth of the four lines. I'm going to take a guess that the GAC line is the Amerks top line with them at the worst being the second line come game time on Friday.

Those were the lines in yesterday's practice as reported by Kevin Oklobzija:
Quote:
Johan Larsson-Phil Varone-Alex Hutchings
Nick Deslauriers-Kevin Porter-Joel Armia
Colton Gillies-Tim Schaller-Brayden Irwin
Dan Catenacci-Mikhail Grigorenko-Luke Adam

The extras in the main group: Freddy Roy and Kevin Sundher.
