Again I'm really disappointed by Vanek.
While he got an assist on the gwg he was our worst forward tonight...and by far IMO.
The only explanation is that he's hiding an injury...he can't be that bad and lazy.

Now the positive stuff.
Another solid game by Eller's line and Subban was once again very good.
Prust was also quite poor tonight.

in cherry's defense, he did said they let a lot go, and then call that with 2 minutes left.

even as a hab fan i was surprised because a lot, lot worse was let go this game. it was a penalty, just guys taking shots to the head all period, some big hooks, and interference to call that, was odd...

So 12 more wins in a row?

Sounds about right.

Didn't like last penalty tbh. Felt it was kind of a bad call. I mean, the series was pretty much over regardless but must leave a sour taste for TBL fans.

I like that team, they are very close to being dangerous. Not gonna be a sore winner, I wish them success in the future.

Really? You must know that a team down 3-0 has less than a 1 in 60 chance of advancing.

Lindback deserves a first star for the whole series. Total sieve.

Rogers has to do something about this. Habs sweep series & all HNIC can talk about is lucky breaks, French refs and what Cherry woulda done.

Awards:
TSN with the in-progress Game 2 of the Raptors' series as the headline story Toronto Sports Network.

If the Leafs swept a team they'd probably have to add another hour to Sportscentre to talk about it.

It happened in offensive zone if Tampa gets the puck and scores game over. That is why ref called it. Players should know refs don;t want to make a call but you leave them no choice if you do it in offensive zone.

You're not going to win many series leading for a total of 3 minutes for the duration of a 4 games series. Maybe the fact they had zero confidence in Lindback affected their play... Gudlevskis was clearly better...

If Detroit doesn't come back, I think we lose to Boston in 5. Going to be very tough to have success against a team that has far superior structure, defense, depth, goaltending, physicality, size, coaching than Tampa.

Unless there's a significant injury or something.

Bruins win 3-0.. The Wings have been no match for the Bruins in games 2 and 3 and I don't expect the Wings to win another game this series.. I hope I'm very wrong though.
