His speed and not being Rinaldo will be a huge boost ! Rags aren't falling for Zacs game and he has barely thrown a hit all series, this move could be a huge advantage.

Honestly, I'd like to see them try to get Voracek to draw some defenders his way and then feed Hartnell for his one timer. It doesn't work from Giroux since everyone expects it, maybe he can get a few if Voracek feeds him.
Jake can't feed Hartnell for one timers considering the positions/handedness of the players.

I do like that they are gonna try and get him the puck more though.

I really think the flyers need to break up G and Voracek at ES.

Raffl Laughton Hall
Like that line but I would rather have Vinny centering it and bring Laughton up to the 2nd line between Simmer and Schenn, Vinny has been a disappointment so far these last 3 games.

I just want to know what Rinaldo has done to earn a solid spot on this team. As a 13th forward during the year sure, whatever, but in the playoffs? What has he done to show he needs to be in there?

If Downie was ready to go it would be Akeson sitting, not Rinaldo. Now that Laughton is up, what is the point of leaving him sitting in favor of Rinaldo? You only play him 5 minutes a night anyway.

There is no Game 5, only Game 4.

Other than fighting and big hits, cant imagine there is a think that Zac does better than Laughton. In JR Laughton has shown though he can fight and hit if he has to.

Zac has speed over Downie, so I guess there could probably be some arguments between the 2.

Hello pot.....

Hopefully somebody on the Flyers puts him in his place. He has been taking pot shots ever since he got shipped out. Him and Lupul.....

He deserved to get booed...so he's right..he shouldn't be surprised for being a ******

I'm a big fan of Zac but I agree, there's no place for him in this playoff series. He's irrelevant for these types of games, someone else should be given a shot.

But don't get me wrong, I still love watching the guy in regular season games, he just doesn't belong in the lineup right here, right now.

I met Carcillo once and he was so cold I wanted to slap him in the face for being a dick to people that just paid good money to meet him. Carcillo. ****ing 4th liner garbage, and he doesn't have the decency to crack a smile or try to enjoy chatting with fans.

What a hump.

You got a link for that? He was talking about the fans & the organization in a positive way on 24/7 this past winter.

It'd be nice to have Laughton. Did he have a good year in juniors?

Berube is voluntarily doing a disservice to the team by not inserting Laughton. We've already saw with Akeson that it's not a terrible idea if he is one of the 12 best forwards, and Laughton is one of the 12 best forwards. One of his jobs is to not put the team in a position to fail. I would bet a lot of money that Laughton would play more than 6 minutes, although extra minutes would likely come at the expense of Voracek.

If Laughton is Berubes decision and not a logistical one then that's another idiotic lineup move on top of the heaping laundry list we already have.

One of the biggest problems with this team, which is also why half our forward lines generally suck and our leading scorers all have two points, is that we have pretty bad secondary scoring and a lot of forwards that are mediocre to bad defensively. Laughton adds youth and defensive responsibility and potentially offense if were lucky.

What? The only team with 7 20-goal scorers is not a team with bad secondary scoring.

No one really knows how Laughton will adapt to the NHL game defensively. Inserting him in the lineup may work like it did for Akeson, but Laughton isn't going to save the series on his own (like Akeson).

I really don't get why people are getting bent out of shape about Laughton.

Berube still should get Vinny off the second line. Actually, Rinaldo doesn't look bad when paired with Vinny, aside from the stupid penalties. I dont see the point in adding Laughton if Vinny is moved down like he should be.

I seriously hate being right about Berube. I'd rather look like an idiot earlier in the season by complaining about him than actually be right about how bad he is at decision making.

There is absolutely no reason for Rinaldo to be in over Laughton, the only way this makes any sense is if Laughton actually isn't able to play. I don't care how young or inexperienced Laughton is, he could absolutely help this team. Raffl-Laughton-Hall is certainly a good 4th line.

The only reason I can think of is that they want to give him a little more practice time. Unless he ends up injured there is really no excuse at all for him not playing game 5 however.

I would love to have that line though and was hoping to see it tomorrow night.
