Also. Massively disappointed in Giroux. He's choking, there's no way of sugar coating it. Hartnell is even worse than usual. Raffl w/ G and Voracek v.2.0? I'd do it.
I rather not watch Raffl flub scoring chances at a higher volume.

Or you can act like you don't know what I'm talking about and pick a fight. If you want. Very moderately I guess.
People gave reasons as to why they agreed with Gill over Gus. I was one of them and am willing to admit I was wrong. But it's not like there was no thought put into it. People can think critically and not come up with the same ideas/solutions.

Coburn had a Ranger right on his back. To say he had no one near him is stupid. Not his fault Gill is a pylon and cant do anything, including hit an open net

It'd be nice to get an early PP and SCORE on it. But our PP looks anemic. They need to get the Rangers' PK moving so they need quicker puck movement and more fluid player movement.

With Hartnell you're effectively getting no chances at all

Very basic question here.

In a game where we have five PP opportunities and need three more goals to win why are Read and Couturier our ice-time leaders for forwards? Especially when there's nobody besides St.Louis that is even worth considering shadowing.

I never said anything about Gill other then him being similar to Grossmann. Gustafsson never being in the lineup at all and being on the bottom of the chart is the issue. Gill really doesn't factor in since he barely plays too.

Coming into this game Vinny has lead the 2nd unit members in pp time. For comparisons sake, Giroux has about 5 more minutes. This is in response to Garbage goals question.

I doubt you'll see Rinaldo very much in the third.

I'm willing to let him develop a little more before I give up on him. He's only 22 years old and power forwards take longer to develop. His line mates haven't really been giving him much help... Vinny looks like an echl player and simmer is not very effective at even strength.

There are a lot worse problems with this team

Gracias. The second unit has been doing better but it also seems like they're getting a lot of opportunity. Also helps that the second has Streit instead of Timonen.

Spitballing.
