Detroit/Chicago Trade Proposal.

It is no secret Detroit is having a hard time getting C Pavel Datsyuk signed under the cap (although some Wings fans may not agree)so here is a trade proposal.

To Chicago
C Pavel Datsyuk
D Mathieu Schneider

To Detroit
D Brent Seabrook
D Jim Vandermeer
LW Rene Bourque
3rd rounder 06

Helps Detroit get younger and helps Detroit gain defensive depth while also helping the hawks get their much needed young forward scoring and scoring defenseman. Maybe take out Schneider/Vandermeer?

Id love to get Datsyuk, but Schneider doesnt do much for us.

What would it take to get only Datsyuk?

If Detroit is unable to meet cap requirements and still sign all their RFAs then their high salary players all have severely diminished trade value. With that in mind, take Schneider and Seabrook out of the deal and it would get done... though the pick might have to be bumped up to round 2.

I like the 2nd idea. Can't believe the Hawks would trade Seabrook.

So you went from one division rival (nashville) to another.

They don't trade w/ each other in the first place ... besides the Chelios one, I can't think of any CHI-DET trades over the last 10+ years.

Rene Bourque is also a up and ocming 20 goal scorer and maybe 30 if he can develop.

Seabrook is a up and coming great d-man.

Vandermeer is a good young defenseman.

Schneider has no value because if we wanted him we would have just signed him.

No thanks.

EDIT: Datsyuk isnt exactly a "young" player so you shouldnt say that anymore or we can call Daze a "young" forward still
