You mean for Västerås who gets to borrow the players that can't grab a regular spot?

Mikko Lehtonen back in Skellefteå.
Apparently we're changing forwards with Bern. He was a beast when he left, what happened to him? Hoping he can get back to his former glory.

Victor Olofsson and Victor Öhman also signed with Modo recently. Both of them 95's.

You'd still think a sniper like that should be able to score a few more goals.

And Jimmie gone as well. Sure, they'll replace them (won't be as good), but man, oh man.

Wow, that's rough for Skellefteå. Wonder who they'll replace Lindström and Ericsson with, I assume they got cash now since they got rid of their contracts but man, that's rough. Möller might be leaving aswell.

I wouldn't breathe as a Skellefteå fan until June 16th.. And even after that Arvidsson might leave..

The good thing is that the first wave of NHL exports are closing in on a make-or-break stage of their careers, like Rundblad, Erixon and Larsson in a couple as well. Granberg, Emanuelsson, Lindström, Alm and any other really could return after they fail (if they do) since things have been so good for them lately, but this upcoming year might be rough.

Who's taking over the captaincy with Ericsson gone?

Don't pretend you're not rejoicing.
We're sort of happy in our misery that this day came now and not in july.

At the meeting with the partners they said they consider Möller lost already.

Probably Forssell, he does most of the locker room speeches anyhow. Boring choice though, personally hoping for Martin Lundberg. Fredrik Lindgren would be good too but it's probably his last season so that doesn't make for much consistency.

Yes but if he stays he'll probably be a likely candidate.

I'd choose Bellemare, easily, for captain if he stays.

And I'd also choose him for the Joakim Lindström spot on the Power Play, if we don't sign anyone even better than Bellemare (almost impossible since he is a top 10 player in the SHL).

But man did Bellemare ever show in the WC that he can play the right wing point on the PP. Not Lindström quality maybe but he has as good a snapshot. Little lesser accuracy but harder. Not as good a slapshot and passing game though.

Bellemare has always gotten other positions on the PP, like left defensman, in front of the net or the second guy that's in the slot or down in the corner to support the RW point (Lindström).

I feel pretty safe to give Bellemare Lindströms PP spot cause in the WC he showed that he is really good at it.

I hope he does not leave now, now he has the chance to be on the first line, the first PP and play with Möller or more probably Arvidsson the whole season in even strength. Please stay. I believe 50 points for Bellemare is in the realm of what's realistic if he stays.

Perhaps Skellefteå jumps in the Janmark race to replace Ericsson. Would be a good move, Janmark could score up to 50p or more with the right linemates IMO.

Melker to Sharks. Well **** you, NHL-teams. Just take everyone and be done with it.

...Melker Karlsson is the 9th player from Skellefteås J20 from 2008/09 to sign an NHL-contract. The first group Lasse Marklund an Jan Erixon took over.
