Bissonnette, Engelland, Fiddler are all important enough to make OP but not a single goalie?

If NYI targets anyone in free agency, it's gonna be a goalie.

Yeah makes no sense our needs are

1. Goaltending
2. Defense
3. Back Up Goaltending
4. Another Defenseman
5. Top 6 LW

The Canucks don't need Goc now that we have Horvat coming up (Likely), Matthias, and Richardson, all guys that can play 3rd line center. I could see a Michalek, Vrbata or Hemsky type player with the Canucks though.

Tampa has no interest in Gaborik.

Well you know that every nhl free agent is counting the days till he could sign to play in Edmonton.

To op:

The Jets with excess cap space, several expiring FW contracts, and many upgradable positions in the bottom 6... Aren't landing anyone? Hmmm

Really hoping the Wild pursue Niskanen if he does not re-sign in Pitt.

Seen it in a few posts, but Ottawa is almost certainly not bringing Hemsky back.

Don't see why Canucks bother signing Goc or Mezaros, not that i don't like them but it seems to contradict the direction this team is headed

this is surprising...is there a reason for this? thought he was performing well and remembered seeing many OTT fans wanting him back, what changed?

I think he means that hemsky will go a cup contender instead of re-signing with the sens when he becomes ufa.

Most sens fans want him back if he was willing to re-sign with the senators. It is doubtful that he re-signs though.

I honestly think he goes to pittsburgh.

Easssssyyyyy friend. Just pointing out that it looks like we were one of the only teams left off. Makes me think he forgot about completely rather than not thinking we would sign anybody

Nothing changed - he played well, probably even better than expected but it's hard to see anyway it can work. With Ottawa having set a budget of 56 million there seems little chance of fitting Hemsky onto the team.

There's also quite a high likelihood of the team moving Spezza, at which point both Hemsky and the the Sens are probably better off going their separate ways.

this, I doubt Hemsky will want to resigns with the Sens if they trade away Spezza

I'm not sure about that Oilers haul.

I wouldn't mind to see Penner back though. When he was traded he said he wished he could stay to see the end of the rebuild.

There's still time Dustin!
