Krapo, as we none too affectionally called him here in Chicago, stunk. Whatever it took to collect a paycheck w/o playing he'd do.
I must admit, he had injury problems....from cold sores to hangnails, no injury too insignificant to keep him out of the lineup.
God help whatever team he's tricked to pay him for so little. Florida? Perfect.

I heard that live and 50 times since and I still get a kick out of it. Krapo is the worst player to ever play in the NHL in my opinion.

I still think he was out of order saying that.

Totally unprofessional.

It was highly appropriate. Karpo was stealing money here. Kudos to Pat Foley on that one.

At least Smith's gone now so he cant do anymore damage. What an awful GM. He gave away our top young defenseman in McCabe and forward in JP Dumont and all he got in return were Michal Grosek and Krapotsev. BRUTAL!!!!

Simon gave effort here. Theo had problems. They were all teammates. They didn't bail on there teams due to laziness, and Simon was an effective third liner here.

Krapot was just terrible here. Add that to the fact Sputter liked to play him made it almost unbearable to watch at times. Krapot has an amazing shot, like when he scored in San Jose..............by throwing an amazing wrister past Thibault.

He sucked. Pat Foley just pulled a Harry Caray and said what we all were thinking. Funny how there was no rebuttal from the Hawks. Wonder if they thought that too?
The most AMAZING thing was the Idiot on the Island giving us a 4th (!) for Krapo!!!

I think that what Foley said was highly appropriate and professionial. He is paid for his comments and it's not like he swore or anything. He just gave Karpotsev a verbal butt-whooping that was highly deserve in his mind.

Great rant.

WAAAAAAAAH.

I don't know if he ever "quit"

He mostly got injured because of the shots he blocked. If you call taking a macinnis slapshot off the ankle "quiting" than i guess you're right. He was average when he was on the ice but he wasn't on the ice all that much cause the shots he blocked put him out.

Foley was an idiot for doing that. Totally bush league. That's the first time in pro sports i've heard someone from the team say that about a player. With the Blackhawk franchise being ranked so low in north american sports it didn't suprise me that it came from them.

Just because you don't like karpo doesn't mean you have condon foley acting like the NHL is junior C.

Wally you are losing this battle. You are the only Hawk fan in existence who thinks it wasnt appropriate.

If you consider Krapo to have been an average player while on the Hawks, Im gonna go out on a limb and say you never saw him play Wally.

Give the guy credit that he at least stood in front of slapshots with no fear.

I would say he was better than mironov.

Sure i'm the only Hawk fan who thinks foley was wrong. Cause i'm not lettin my dislike for a player cloud what really happened. foley was out of line. He should have said that face to face if that is what he thought of him. Keep it out of the public eye like every other pro sports team.
