Now that it looks like DT's just about done, here's the roster and REAL cap situation

A few of these are unconfirmed like the cap figures for Robitaille, Kostopulous, Gleason and Weaver...and the salaries for Weaver and Flinn.

BTW, if anyone sees someone I'm missing off the list, let me know.

Also, I don't know of a single player under contract to the Monarchs...does anyone?

Great job DT
Are you sure Armstrong is not going to be an UFA next season?

According to the NHLPA's 12/9/04 offer to the NHL, he was one of 6 Kings (at the time) under contract for 06-07:

Conroy - $2.394 mil
Miller - $2.28 mil
Visnovsky - $1.9 mil
Dempsey - $950k
Army - $760k
Cowan - $532k

Conroy and Visnovsky are signed thru 07-08.

So in other words, we have $18,053,800 on one year contracts. Brown and Cammalleri, Avery, Garon, Norstrom, Gleason, Grebeshkov being the notable (likely) re-signings. Not bad.

im really concerned at how much a lot of our prospects are goin to cost in the near future. brown, avery, garon, cammy, and gleason are all prospects who may get pay raises next year. will we be able to keep them all? i sure hope we can lock them all up for a long period of time.

Thanks, the only other ones I don't know for sure are Kanko, Roussin and Flinn. I assume Kanko has 1 yr left and that Roussin signed a 3 yr deal. But I don't know about Flinn.

Flinn was a 1 year deal.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with left wing Ryan Flinn, Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Flinn, 25, appeared in 14 games last season with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL) recording two points (1-1=2) and 112 penalty minutes. The native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has appeared in 29 career NHL games, all with the Kings, recording a goal (1-0=1) and 79 penalty minutes.

The 6-5, 235-pounder was originally selected by the New Jersey Devils in the fifth-round (143rd overall) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and was signed as a free agent by the Kings on January 9, 2003.

Considering he was signed to a 1 year, 2-way, non entry-level contract I would say that $450,000 is a safe assumption.

Richard Petiot - "that other 6'4" dude" you are referring to? He's the best player on that entire list.

On the Ek's blog he said this, I don't know if anyones seen this or not....

Rumors that LA may send Miller to Buffalo in return for Biron plus....

Lydman from Calgary may go to LA...no specifics on return.

Now, how does that help us? I'm really starting to think that this guy posts on HF.

If there are any left. The way things seem to be going this year. With alot of potential UFA's signing long-term deals with their teams.

I'm sure there will be plenty of guys not wanting to sign long term deals to test the fa market.

I'm pretty sure Kanko has 2 years left. He signed a 3 year deal before the 03-04 season, but he got sent back to the OHL. I don't think contracts count in that case, but I could be wrong. But you look at Pushkarev, and he signed a 3 year deal just before the lockout, and he still has 3 years left.

And Armstrong signed a 2 year deal at the end of the 03-04 season, so I think he's an UFA at the end of this upcoming year. Same with Dempsey. Again, could be wrong.

I'm surprised that miller is all it takes to get Biron...that will lead to quite a battle for the starting goaltending position if it does happen...though, i have my doubts that that idea carries much weight...

Lydman, though a bit pricy can be very good....QB on PP and skates and moves the puck extremely well.....

Possibly, a bigger trade involving Biron and Mckee, who can replace Miller as the stay at home Dman...I know he was having some contract issues earlier...but not sure why Buf. would give the money to Miller and not Mckee

The NHLPA's 12/9/04 offer showed the Kings had 6 players signed thru 06-0, including Army and Dempsey. They could be wrong but that's what I went by. And I thought Push signed with Manchester before the lockout and with the Kings 3/05.
