Boston looks really average right now. Has anyone seen David Krejci, or did Mike Richards break him again?

I know it's heresy to say such a thing, but maybe it was just Philly that made him terrible. He was decent in Phoenix, and seems to be OK to moderate with the Wild now.

No, not really. Chicago is still going to win that series in five games. Even with Minnesota's defense/obstruction fest, Bryz has an .860 save percentage.

Bryz will only be as good as the defense is in front of him.

Bryz is rocking an .870 SV% and a GAA of 3.09

And there are plenty of goalies like that in the NHL. I don't think anyone argues that he is elite. There are very few goalies in history that play lights out with crap in front of them.

Bryz wasn't as bad as people thought, but it's questionable whether he's an NHL starter still and he definitely wasn't worth that contract or tossing Bob out the window.

Agreed on bold. I still think he's an NHL caliber starter, but bordering on becoming a backup. I think if he never left Phoenix, we'd never have this conversation.

Bryzgalov looked shaky often last night. He saw all of 18 shots, the Minnesota team looked like the Flyers doing their best to protect Leighton in 09-10; sheer desperation. He will fall apart if he gets tested, as usual.

I've seen this song and dance before. He puts up a .940 in a shaky performance then tanks back down to .820 for several games.

Like in the final minute, where 3 Wild players threw themselves in front of a shot from the point?

i can imagine BEEF, getting that same shaky feeling he used to chat about when Leighton was in net and the puck entered our zone..

every shot towards the net was a chance at a goal..

or should i not mention that dark period in history ???

You mean the feeling I get every time Emery is in net or Grossmann is on the ice?

The Rangers are horrible, watching a period like this makes me hope the Flyers feel embarrassed and angry about losing to this.

Yeah, the Rangers look like they're ready for the beach and not the playoffs.

The Rangers are also on their sixth game in nine days.

No time for adjustments. No time for rest. This was an uphill battle of a series all along.

Their franchise defender was already injured to start with. Can't imagine he's feeling any better right around now.

Pretty confident that the Flyers would have beat the Rangers if Mason was in net for the whole series. Damn you Megna.

There is no reason for Nash to feel tired, that's for sure.

Rangers are making this too easy for the Pens. They're barely covering Crosby or Malkin and they put them on the same damn line.

The keep trying to out-skill them. Haven't they watched Pittsburg in literally every playoff series for the past 3 years?

Still pisses me off that Giroux got snubbed for Rick ****ing Nash.

Yeah, I know Canada won Gold anyhow, but it's ****ing Team Canada so they could have a good shot at winning if half their team went deaf and blind.
