OK, I'm going to drop this. You see what you want to see, and I'm not going to change that.

Meszaros was a healthy scratch yesterday.. Gawd dammit Boston, play him more (and get to the ECF) so we'll get your 2nd round pick!

Seems like a lost cause at this point.

Mez has assisted on two goals which have been cancelled out by goals against while he's on the ice. Boston might be seeking more defensive stability than he brings, because they were getting scored on a lot. They need to lock down their own end a bit. I doubt he'll play more in this series. Damnit Boston.

Don't think they care about giving up a second round pick. They're not going to base there lineup decisions based on the fact that they might lose a draft pick when you're this far into the playoffs. Mez just isn't good enough to be in the lineup to begin with.

If they had kept him and kept rolling out the Mez-Schenn third pairing after the trade deadline the Flyers would have missed the playoffs. I am convinced of that.

How many more games does Mez need to play in order to meet one of the requirements for the 2nd rounder?

Mez has played 4 of the 9 games. Basically, he'd need to play the next 6 games to be 10 out of 15, which is 2/3. Or if longer for the next series (if they move on), 12 out of 18. So he'd have to basically play the next 8 games straight.

They're not playing him because he's a D who plays zero D as we should all know.

I was hoping he would only get 1 minute per night sitting on the bench every game to gift us a second.

im sure there are folks who feel the same way about both groups of fans. I live around here so I have to hear it verbally every day about the Bruins. So I have my reasons for them being very high on my hate list. If I didn't live in New England then I would likely be indifferent on the Bruins.

At least the Bruins have a tough team. I'd love for the Flyers to be able to play like them. I could never root for those flopping Habs

I've never seen an NHL goalie flop around as easily as Fleury. Even Leighton knew how to stay on his feet and knees.

With Fleury it's like all you have to do is get him moving East and West and hell eventually flip around like a fish out of water. It's weird seeing an NHL starter do that.

Pens doing their typical jackass routine when down in a playoff game. Niskanen would **** me off if he played here.

I hate the Canadiens just as much but I think the Bruins will beat the Pens, can't say the same for the Canadiens.

Regardless I want the Ducks or Wild to win and if not them then the Kings. If it's a Hawks/Penguins/Canadiens/Bruins final, I think I'll put myself in solitary confinement until it's all over.
