Looks like Geno is already in Russia and Neal, Orpiks, and Kunitz didn't show up at the clearing in Pittsburgh right now. Team is a mess.

Seems like more actually. Martin, Nisky, and Scuderi didn't talk either so far.

Kunitz is found.

great leadership in Pittsburgh I tellya.

It wouldn't shock me if they traded Neal and Kunitz.

Today, Pierre is still the happiest boy in the world.

Anyway, Pittsburgh makes me nervous next season. Assuming they fire Bylsma, and if they manage to bring in Kesler, they could make life miserable for the east. Things sound like a mess though, so if they stand pat; who knows.

Pierre is odd.

Did he wear the Montreal themed tie all game or put that on for the interview?

CBC is going to be insufferable for the ECF; they already treat Price like he's the greatest goaltender of all-time.

Pitt will probably use their buyouts.

What are they going to trade for Kesler?

really wish the networks wouldn't dictate the start time of these games.
5 PM local time for game 7 tomorrow LA/Anaheim
1 PM start for game 1 of the ECF. regular season afternoon games are bad enough. playoff afternoon games are worse. especially the Conference championship.

they were talking about it on hockey night in Canada radio on sirus yesterday. Shero convinced Mario to keep Blysma. They wanted to fire him last summer.
So It would not shock me at all if Shero and Blysma were both canned.

I really hate afternoon playoff games. What's weird is that I really enjoy Saturday afternoon games during the regular season, but yeah, playoff games are meant to be played at night.

I don't think I would trade Kunitz, he only carries a caphit below $4M & provides 30+ goals & 60+ points. It may be inflated by Crosby but hey it works so who cares.

Pittsburgh being in disarray makes me downright giddy.

I probably wouldn't either. But its something that they likely will discuss. changing the makeup of their top 6.

Kunitz scores, but when Crosby is on. If you shut down Crosby, stats show, you shut down Kunitz, what's he worth when he only produces when Crosby does. That's how you get into trouble.

Pittsburgh feigning competency while being completely incompetent makes me giddy.

Crosby's temper, and partially Malkin's, is at fault here, though guys like Neal don't help them any. If Pittsburgh could keep their emotions in check, they'd be far more scary and less of a paper tiger.

I'm curious about how much that has to do with Bylsma. He has no control of his roster.

The fact that he has no control over his roster is potentially what causes Fleury's epic meltdowns as well.

So, I was hoping Pittsburgh would make it past the Rangers before getting beaten because I DON'T want Bylsma to lose his job. Competency and control is the last thing we want in Pittsburgh.

They didn't really seem to have it with Therrien either, from what I remember.

They were definitely more put together emotionally. Their roster wasn't nearly as solid as it is now when Therrien was running it. That's not to say Therrien is winning any awards, but the Penguins have turned into a sideshow circus of calamitous entertainment. I'd love for nothing more than the show to go on.

Yeah I was looking at their roster on capgeek the other night & was surprised with how much he was making. He has a new contract kicking in next year which his caphit will be $3.85M his previous caphit was $3.725M. He's also 35 which I didn't know neither.
