Eh you can grab them off me. I'll be recording them for the International crowds that can't watch them anyway, and hopefully we can get enough people in on it that the bandwidth will be spread evenly. I'm not certain about the legality of it, but I can't imagine MLSE getting their panties in a wad over sharing the games after the game itself is over-- particularly to those who have no other way of seeing them. IMO, it actually helps build their fan base anyway

Thus I'll provide them during the season, and unless am told otherwise, will not deem it overly inappropriate.

Will you be recording/uploading the preseason games as well? With NHL Center Ice I get all the regualr season games (minus the one time they play the Ducks) but have yet to figure out how I am going to watch the preseason affairs. It would be nice to see how the prospects do in those games.

Ahh yes. I remember when I used to subscribe to cable (it was only four days ago after all). But now I too am a rich man with a satellite dish who gets to watch endless replays of old Leafs games and that sort of thing on Leafs TV. Suddenly, the idea of having actual games on Leafs TV doesn't seem so bad.

If there's one thing that helps me get over the depressing fact that the month of August is winding down, this is it.

I know this has been covered before around here, but I've just spent 15 unsuccessful minutes on Rogers' website. So, what I want to know is, what's the total cost of upgrading to Digital cable?

Right now I have the Ultimate TV Pack, so I'm paying $40-something a month. I only have one TV (so I don't care about additional inputs.) And I think that the $7.99 sports package would be good enough. So what are the total initial and monthly costs I'll be looking at if I upgrade?

Thanks to anyone who'll help...

The digital box will cost you $3.99 per month and there seems to be another $2 per month charge, just because they can. I still don't quite know what it is for.

I have all the channels including the movie package on demand, plus cable internet, which is about $41 +/- by itself. My total is around $120 per month with two digital boxes and 5 outlets. I don't know if that helps much, but the digital by itself really isn't too bad.

Yeah I had intended to, I can provide those as well I imagine, though Sept 18 might have to wait a while since it's my Birthday and I'll be hammered/doing other fun activities.

Switch to Bell. I've had all three of Rogers, LookTV and Bell ExpressVU, and Bell is by far the better and most flexible. I've got an HD box and a PVR, best inventions since TV.

How long does it take for Leafs TV to get working once you order it? I want to order it just in time for the Leafs first preseason game.

We have Rogers digital cable, I'm pretty sure we ordered about 30 minutes before the game. By the time we came to the living room to turn the TV on after we hung up the phone, it was working.
