Colourized Richard & Beliveau Stanley Cup Pic

One of the things I enjoy doing is colourizing black & white pictures. Here is a famous pic of Maurice Richard and Jean Beliveau with the Stanley Cup. I coloured it with Gimp.

Not bad for an amateur effort. You've got some work to do on the hair

Cool! Have you done the same with the Leafs? I'm sure Toronto fans would appreciate a colourized Stanley Cup picture

Nice!

Good work colouring the shirtless dude. Cherry's right -- no place for women reporters...

hair and eyebrows are too dark, and so have lost resolution.

Hey, not saying I could do any better though. Everything else is pretty much perfect!

With uniforms, a single colour works fine when doing this, but you have to use a multitude of different shades for skin. That's why it looks odd. Great effort though, the first pic looks like Beliveau and Groucho Marx haha
