I haven't posted yet in the PGT, but I gotta say: last night's win was absolutely great, the habs played one hell of a game, and they really dominated the Bruins (IMO), which they hadn't done in the first 2 games.

But I'd like to know what you think: last night, the Bruins only got 1 penalty. Do you guys think because the habs were able to capitalize on the PP opportunities in the first 2 games, now the Bruins play a less physical game because they don't wanna get in PK trouble?

It seems to me like it's the case... while we usually see the bruins play a dirty/physical game, yesterday's game was really calm in that department on the Bruins' side... What do you think?

Downloading game 3, will put on thumbdrive and watch via my ps3. Too much anxiety to watch final 20 minutes last night.

It's not Julien that needs to deliver ******** with a straight face again... Gives more credibility to the ******** and takes pressure off Julien... When Julien whines at the next press conference, he might have a small sliver of credibility left.

@HackswithHaggs:
Chiarelli: "To me it looked like [Subban] knocked [net] off, but for every person that thinks he did there's a person that thinks he didn't"

The Bruins organization is filled with brain-dead cavemen.

Do you happen to remember 2011?
Game two buzzer sounds Habs up 2-0. Neely apoplectic, slamming doors.
The whole organization was reeling.

This Ad Hoc presser tells me we are there again.
The reffing isn't the issue, the Bruins are ******** their pants because they can clearly see we have the energy, the talent, and the determination to do them.

I mean, that's a fair thing to say, isn't it? You can't really know for sure, and from his side of the spectrum, he'll obviously be more inclined to say it was intentional.

It's the same with the Chara - Pacioretty incident. We thought it was premeditated, Bruins fans pretended it wasn't. In the end, nobody really knows beside Chara, or Subban.

For Claude Julien to come out and say this makes him look like a whining crybaby again... It's part of the media strategy that the Bruins use... Put pressure on certain players (Subban) and hint that somehow the win was tainted... Nothing new. Just go and look at their press conference history in all the playoff series they've been involved in these past few years...

It's not about anything he said it's about the method he adopted to say it in.

It would normally take a Chara/Patches type incident to warrant a media scrum like that?

That wasnt Claude Julien though...

theres no way to tell if he called the press conference just for that, or if he called it hoping someone would ask the right question so he could say that. But, he said it.

Exactly. I meant they have someone saying it in his place (I.e Chiarelli, it could very well have been Neely instead)

Bruins media reported he called a press conference to say no new information on anything... hum...

"Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli made himself available to the media Wednesday at the Bell Centre Sports Complex, but there was no special announcement or message revealed."

"It’s very rare for general managers to speak during a series, and when they do, it’s with a specific message in mind. Chiarelli had none...''

Subban obviously wanted to slow himself down and lose a step from getting the puck behind the net and clearing the puck out of the zone with 10 seconds left. Logic clearly shows this was intentional move.

Both him and Julien do that to take away pressure/attention from the Bruins players methinks.

And risk putting his team shorthanded. I mean, surely, he had the Bruins interests at heart. Giving the Bruins a PP. Classy Subban is classy.

Difference is... with Subban its a case of him cheating (something Marchand does every shift.) With Chara its a case of intentionally causing injury. Big difference.

I really don't see the big deal here. Even if Subban did it on purpose... so what? Its not the Bruins didn't intentionally fall on Price and smack him in the face. There were missed calls all over the place.

Bruins the only team I know who can't give credit to another team or can't put the blame of a loss on themselves.. It's always someone else's fault... You know typical children behavior!

In their own minds Bruins can't be beaten.. so when it happens.. It's a conspiracy or refs help the Habs or any teams they play.

That's true, Marchand pretty much does the same thing as does Lucic.

They tread the line daring the officials to make a call. Marchand slashes, jabs, small spears after every whistle. Every single one "could" be called. Lucic continues to spear players. He will do so until he gets called
