There's a reason why Therrien is playing grizzled vets over JT and NB right now. And he's right. Experience matters this time of the year. It's your right to be nervous about the series. I'm not.

Pens fan;

Montreal has some kind of Bruins kryptonite. Like they're too concerned about being the "Big Bad Bruins" and trying to hit PK then actually start playing hockey in the 3rd period. They're so far under the Bruins skin, I really think Montreal is the only team in the East that could stop Boston from cake walking to the SCF.

Pacioretty is the one who has gotten the most attention from the Bruins, so his main value may be as a decoy,

i still like to think it should be 3-0, but in 2011 we went up 2-0 and blew the third game and everything unraveled culminating in a game 7 ot loss

THIS time, we got the "shot to the nuts" loss a bit earlier, and didnt have to come back home 2-0 with thought of "oh well we got this now" and then we just float and let boston right back into the series

i think that game 2 loss was HUGE for us, the timing and of course, how we responded in game 3 , means this game 4 is 1000% looking better for us than it did in 2011 after suffering a crushing game 3 OT loss and handing boston the momentum

i dont want to count no chickens tho, but im glad we lost game 2 when we did

boston gonna come out strong in this one, stronger then weve ever SEEN maybe, and we just have to weather that storm, capitilize on a few breaks, and get the hell outta dodge,

with an elite goaltender, ANYTHING is possible in the playoffs

go habs go!
As I recall, the Bruins won all the OT games. If the Habs had won even one of them, the Bruins would have been out.

Their D being poor just means it allows us to score 3 or 4 goals. That doesn't stop them from putting up 3 or 4 goals if they have a good day. Every game in this series is a game the other side could have won if a few bounces went differently. The teams are evenly matched, and hence uncertainty is high as to who comes out the victor, as both teams have glaring weakness that are very exploitable.

Not only Subban but It's Emelin too. When Lucic sees Emelin out there, his priority is to hit the guy, not play hockey. He just totally ignores Krejci and Iggy.

Hope Boston keeps trying to intimidate the Habs. It just won't work anymore. Or at least, I hope the Habs can keep their composure and not engage. Or else, they will lose.

Are those intolerant muppets still saying Habs dive? I won't go to their forum...I'm superstitious. They have so many embellishments against us already.

We have the bruins in a tight spot. They were convinced last game they needed to stay disciplined to win. What happened? Montreal had waaaay more skating room and our speedy forecheck destroyed their weak D.
So what do they do this game? Go back to the old Bruin ways? Can a team minus Seidenberg, Horton, Mcquaid and Ference really do that? Especially considering they are replaced by the likes of Krug, Hamilton (big softy), Eriksson and Soderberg. Also, Chara's intimidation factor is a fraction of what it was. Frankly, Montreal isn't intimidated by this Bruins team anymore.
All Boston can do is try to play a clean, fast paced game against us. They can do it, but Julien has the difficult task of teaching a whole new game plan in the middle of a playoff series.
I'm trying to be cautious about my expectations, but I really REALLY like the position we are in right now.

Yeah I could watch that over and over!

Obviously a huge one tonight! Really important to maintain home ice with a win tonight.

Habs in 6!
