I'm just hoping these next two picks are on the defensive side of the ball.

Jaylen Watkins. Also a good pick.

Solid player. Can play anywhere in the backfield.

Pretty good selection. Love the versatility and the size.

Some dudes have names that just fit their team, and "Jaylen Watkins" just sounds like an Eagle.

We really are seeing the type of player Chip wants and I think he also wonders what it would be like to coach against himself.

If you were coaching 'against' Chip Kelly and a hurry-up offense I think a guy like Watkins would be pretty good. He can play safety or corner so you don't have to worry about someone shifting guys around to exploit him. His speed is good (4.41, better than his all-pro WR half-brother)

He's not exceptionally tall, but has good strength (22 reps). Seems like the kind of guy who may get spot-duty early on(exception Special Teams), but could work his way into the rotation as the season progresses and eventually be a starter.

Doesn't seem like they are going for upside with these picks. Outside of Smith, what you see is what you are going to get. Not sure if that's good or not. Would like to see them take chances later in the draft.

Sammy's All-Pro already? That was quick.

All-American rather.

and darn Justin Ellis just got drafted by the Raiders. Hoping that Daquan Jones slides and the Eagles can get him. I really think they need to improve the interior of the d-line and get a big body.

With the type of fast-paced offense you see the D not get too much time to recover on the sideline and I think you need someone else to put in there besides Logan.

Eagles traded RB Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills, per league source.
Wonder what the return was.

Bryce Brown traded to Buffalo. Kid could be one of the best in the league if he got his head on straight. Wonder what they got?

Conditional 4th, and apparently they swapped picks in the 7th?

For Bryce Brown, Eagles are getting back a conditional 4th-round pick in 2015 that can be a 3rd in 2016, per source.
Guess Polk is now the backup.

Gah I forgot that we traded for Sproles. Guess Brown was the odd man out. Still pretty good backfield with Shady, Sproles and Polk. If Brown could hold on to the ball he would be a top RB in the league imo.

Good for Brown. There's no available touches here.

Outside of Peterson, I don't think there is a RB in the league with his raw talent. Guy is a freak. He has no idea what he's doing on the field though.

Logan Thomas first QB off the board in day 3, I didn't see that coming with what else on the board at that position.

They like Matthew Tucker, too, I bet. Big kid, closest thing to a FB they will carry on the roster, with Casey. Foles should have a field day with Maclin, Cooper, Matthews, Huff, Benn, Ertz, Celek, Casey, McCoy, Sproles, Polk, and Tucker.

Another freak. Just doesn't have the feel for playing QB.

Savage to Houston.

Good fit for BOB's offense.

I thin he'll take another one of his boys Taylor Hart.
