Good thing this is preseason and you have more players available, because the defense would be gassed before the end of the 1st quarter if this were the regular season.

"What's a fullback? Do we even need to cover those?"

Lane Johnsons mobility was sorely missed on that sack.

A lot to dislike. The next ball they throw Marsh's way will have an XFL application on it.

Both the kickers are bad. Miss Akers in his prime.

It saddens me on more than one level that he will probably beat out a guy with the nickname "Murderleg"

Okay. That's enough watching Marsh being beaten like a rented mule for me tonight.

If you're having a bad day, remember, you could be Curtis Marsh.

Leg strength wasn't the problem today. Kickoffs were in the back of the endzone for the most part.

The 3rd game is the big game. He should get reps then. Kelly wasn't going to put him there this week after the game he had last week. I think he did take a couple snaps with the first team anyway.

Dissappointed in Marcus Smith. Kid looked lost out there. Marsh was horrible as mentioned. This team needs to learn from the Flyers how to draft in the first round its unbelievable how poor they draft. I know its early but usually you can see flashes of why a player was taken. BTW not to be too negative Matthews looked great last night and could be our #1 soon

Who would you have taken after Cooks went? Curious to know.

I think Smith has been good. Sure if you expect him to be Aldon Smith, you're going to be disappointed. He doesn't have any pass rush moves, but he already looks like he's been playing LB for years. He can run, he can cover, and he seems to know what's going on out there. Baldy said it last night. The last thing to come is the pass rush.

He had an almost certain sack negated by illegal hands to the face. He got into the backfield a lot, but he needs to add strength and get savvier in order to shed blocks consistently and get back there while the QB still has the ball.

In Chip We Trust.

Remember Chip crapped all over the hype of the draft and drafted players last month. He's right too. It's incredible how many fans and sometimes even GMs and owners draft players thinking they're plug right in and save the franchise. Almost never happens.

As for the game, one of the worst and most boring games I've ever seen. I hope the refs chill with the ****ing penalties this year. And for two teams who practiced with each other all week, they sure as **** didn't know how to stop each other.

Since the draft is the topic recently, and specifically production from those drafted in the first round, I heard a pretty sad stat on the radio earlier pertaining to this. The last player the Eagles drafted in the first round that turned into a Pro-Bowler was Shawn Andrews in 2004.

I looked it up, and the only other team to go at least that long without drafting an eventual Pro-Bowler in the 1st round: Oakland. So, not good company there.

I'm not putting blame on Chip here. He wasn't responsible for most of those drafts. And we could still potentially see some of the 1st round picks still on the team become Pro-Bowlers. Still, to not have just 1 reach Pro-Bowl status since 2004... oooof.

Coming to Philly 1st time in Oct for Flyers and Eagles. Giants game on Oct 12th. What are the best beer gardens or places to party before that sell booze and food, and places you guys recommend ? Are there any sections that are better than others.
