Great to see Bibbs sign with the Broncos. He's a good runner, hopefully he can make the roster undrafted like CJ Anderson did.

And Barrett too.

Good day for Denver lacrosse teams.

Outlaws won in Boston 10-9 in OT, pushing their record to 3-0 and 23 straight regular season wins. They are the only remaining unbeaten team in the league. They have a home game Saturday against the Rochester Rattlers.

And the DU Pioneers knocked off North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA lacrosse tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals.

And finally, the Rockies destroyed the Reds, 11-2. Another great start for Lyles and home runs galore. Dickerson twice, Tulo, Blackmon, Morneau all went yard.

Why? I think you need to elaborate there.

So do I. But that's mostly because I hate the Donkeys and all.

Isn't it a little early to be hitting the sauce?

Peyton Manning is really good in the regular season, but he has shown over two seasons that he is, indeed, a huge playoff choker.

You said the word playoffs. The chances the Broncos make the playoffs vs the chances the Rockies do makes this a moot point.

Losing in the playoffs sucks, and it's even worse if you're a favorite to win it all. Since John Elway retired, the Broncos and Rockies have both made it to the championship once. And they were both dominated. Pretty equal overall, except the Rockies were a cinderella team and the Broncos weren't.

The Broncos are obviously a much better-run franchise than the Rockies, though.

That's about the level of response I was anticipating.

That is the reason why someone would have little hope in Peyton Manning.

And it is a big reason.

so wait....Kapri Bibbs came out early so that he could go undrafted?

That kid had so much promise...granted RB demand is almost non-existant these days, but wow....That's looking like a horrible decision by him.

Yep. I knew the second he declared that would happen. At least he got a contract though. Could be a lot worse.

It's not a bad situation for him though. Montee is the only entrenched RB with Knowshon headed to Miami and Hillman is at his last straw.

I would guess he had academic issues, that's usually the reason you see players leave early to go late or go udfa.

I believe every CSU OL graduated, he wasn't going to repeat his junior year stats.

Charged with assault and no one mentions a thing about it. Roby does a couple of immature things and he's a character risk. Uh huh...

That's the world of media. I honestly am trying to find ways not to read the news anymore.

Sounds like Wes Welker jr.

I'm personally rooting for Mister Cobble, because is there honestly a better name out there for a defensive tackle? Not since Jerry "Butter" Ball.

I'm kind of surprised that Burse didn't get drafted, pretty quick, good production.

I think Bibbs has a decent shot at making it. RB is not a deep position with only Ball, Anderson and Hillman ahead of him. He could easily pass up Hillman, he is pretty awful.
