Trade ideas........

What do you think!

To MON: O'Neill
To CAR: Ribeiro, Hossa

To MON: Arnott
To DAL: Perreault, Hainsey

This way, the line-up could look loke this:

Bulis ---------------------- Koivu ------------------ O'Neill
Zednik ------------------- Arnott ------------------ Ryder
Sundstrom --------------- Juneau ------------------ Ward
Langdon/Dwyer ------------ Kilger ----------------- Dackell

Plekanec will eventually be able to step in as the third line center. Keeping Juneau instead of Perreault isn't my first choice, but Perreault has way more value than Juneau.

As for you first proposal, it's fair but we are in a youth mouvement and our payroll just can't be increased more...
#1 LMAO @ Arnott LAZY
#2 LMAO @ fair proposals

Keep up to watch our bulldogs on TV or Ribeiro while it last

Only thing you are right about is our payroll can't increase

1st

O'Neill is their best offensive forward right now - Vrbata is set to explode
especially if hes playing with healthy Francis this year, but isnt there yet. IF they were trading him (doubtful) they would asking much more that Ribeiro when they have two bigger/better young centers.

2nd

You got the wrong player. Turgeon is the player they've tried to get rid of. Stars are committed on Arnott he fits their game plan (grinding on soft ice) better. And sending them Perreault would add to their problem having too many centermen - atleast Arnott can play wing effectively.

Trading Hossa or Hainsey really woulnt match with Gaineys youth move talk dont you think?

PLEKANEC: Dallas wasnt eliminated because of Arnott... if there is anyone to be singled out its Giguere.

I don't really like the 2 trade proposals.

Especially the first, O'Neill isn't getting younger...Ribeiro is one of our best foward without Koivu and Hossa is developping well. The future start today and it will be a bad idea to report it to later IMO.

Same here.

I expect Gainey will trade some players for a "not too bad 1st liner"
