Didn't seem like he cared. Looked like he thought he was playing in a beer league.

They should, they have been decent. If you look at other teams in the playoffs, not all top players are firing on all cylinders. I think Subban obviously is the impact player on the team. Vanek, as much as people hate on him, has the most points out of all forwards against the Bruins this series. Markov seems to be slowing down but EASILY the second best on the team.

We will likely lose the series but blowing it up because of it is dumb IMO. I think they should take notes on what is missing and then build off the talent they have - including Vanek. Imagine not having Vanek type threat on this team, he really makes the Habs good and a more complete team.

Hopefully Bergevin recognizes guys like Murray are useless and speed is important.

I was actually surprised about the high-sticking penalty. Pleks put his stick up to protect himself because he knew he was going to get run over and went to the box for it. Weise got cut open on a similar play in game four and it was not called.

Bourque, Eller and Gionta is the only functioning line and it got split up. I'm sick of the DD-Pacioretty coddling, I really am. Can't stand that we'd put a series on the line before splitting them up. DD on the first wave has been useless almost the entire series. It's enough.

And Murray sucks. He's ****ing awful, there is no defending this guy at all.
Nope. MT will go down with the DD/Max ship. MT has done everything he could to screw everyone else up just so he could keep this duo in tact. It's pretty sad, really.

Neither one of them would have been closed to being called in the previous game.

Don't be dramatic and support your team.

Not watching because a 6th d-man is on what may be the final game of the season vs habs rival in 2nd round? I call that dramatic.

Good thing we dont expect too much from him.
Your logic is bizarre. Bourque has scored many goals, far exceeding what you could expect from a third liner. Almost single handedly destroyed TB. Murray has just been terrible and done nothing. Stop trying to justify Murray's presence in the lineup by using ridiculous examples of all of our best players in the playoffs...

I think that Pacioretty is hurt.

He had to be taken off the ice after that hit against the boards. He is definitely not engaging like he did during the regular season.

I'm sure we will hear all the gory details once the payoffs end.

Maybe if we combine Plekanec and Eller they can carry Max.

So #Habs Therrien won't separate Pacioretty from Desharnais, & likes what Murray brings (so don't be surprised if he stays in).

DD and Pacioretty have at least had success this season. I'd personally change it, but I can see the reason not too.

Murray though? He's had like 4 good games all season.

I really wish we had a coach like Brucy B. Going with an AHL goalie because you feel he gives you the chance to win? Therrien would never, in a million years, play a rookie over a vet unless he was forced too.

If I was coach, I'd be dressing Beaulieu. On top of that, I'd put in a hungry forward like Andrighetto. Especially after tonight's effort.

It really does. I didn't want him here but we signed the guy and there never was a place for him. Feel bad for him because he hasn't complained one bit, has been very positive and for sure a team guy.

Totally different blueliners. If you think it isn't close, you didn't watch Chelios.

Seriously the number of icings from this team since the start of the playoffs has been incredible. Last time i've seen this many icings I was playing Pee-Wee.

I thought we were a developing team, though. You only blow up a team that has been developed and gone as far as possible. Habs have a lot of young players and SHOULD have been trying to develop them. Instead, the team overachieved and the coach gave certain vets every opportunity ahead of the more gifted younger players. We are in year 2 of the rebuild/retool plan. Keep building the team and DEVELOP THE YOUTH! Galchenyuk and Lars should be getting DD's minutes and role. Don't re-sign Vanek. Tinordi and Beaulieu should be regulars next year. Keep adding pieces and dump some of the vets.

I hate them too. I hate to give my mom a "Why Boston sucks" lesson.

My mom looked at me reluctantly "I don't usually watch hockey but Boston looks like they are playing better today"

"Thanks..."

"But now I don't like them, go habs go"

Habs fan just in time for mother's day I guess.
