What's good about the Habs bruins series is even after playing 7 games they'll still have a few days off before the next round especially if the western series go to 7 Anaheim and LA playing game 5 now

It's not about Beaulieu putting us over the top, it's more about Murray and Bouillon not being in to sink us. That is the fundamental difference here, one that you have failed to understand for a while now.

With Murray in, we assured a good part of 10min of ice time spent in our zone. That is a crap load of time to be spending defending and it affects the game.
With Beaulieu in, he didn't spend the majority of that 10min chasing puck in his zone like Murray does. And notice how we played our best and most physical game without Murray, or Parros, or Moen in.

Not only were we not hemmed into our own zone but Beaulieu actually provided offense. Think about that for a second... offense from our 3rd pairing. A guy who actually HELPED us win.

Huge difference in having him in the lineup.
I agree, he HELPED. But put it this way, if he's in game 5, we still lose. I like him in the lineup, of course, but let's not get carried away.

If he's in right from game 1, we might have won this series already.

It gave them less scoring chances against our "weakest" pair.

Bouillon and Murray are both much worse at preventing goals against and contribute to sequences that increase the probability of goals against. Bouillon lacks hockey sense and manages to do something stupid that leads to a goal or a delicious scoring chance. Murray basically traps the whole team in their own end for his entire shift. Neither Bouillon nor Murray are great at making flip passes like the one to Pacioretty either.

Beaulieu's biggest contribution is as the third dman on the PP and helping fuel the breakout leading to our quick transitions. I loved Theirren calling his number.

Weaver with Murray or Bouillon and his pairing gets badly outplayed/possessed/shot through 5 games. Magically, neither of those two are in and the opposite happens... Who knew?

Somebody did that earlier. I just re-posted it here. And on the main boards too...

Beyond Beaulieu, shouldn't you be raving about MT? How he outcoached Julien? How he managed to get his team supremely motivated for this game? I mean you'd have no trouble bashing the hell out of him if we'd lost.

How awesome would it be if the Habs do win game 7 and Subban ends up scoring the winning goal.. That would be such a huge **** you to Bruin fans.

And what about game four? Do we lose there? Do we lose game two? Hell, I don't even know if we lose game 5 because Murray had us hemmed in so bad.

Anyways, you can take this up with somebody else. I'll just say that I strongly disagree with you. Murray and Cube were poison for us and Bealieu makes a huge difference. Even if he makes mistakes in the next game at least he's giving us some good shifts.

DD with an awesome effort (again). Great to see Vanek and Pacioretty do what they do best when it counted the most.

Rask 2-9 all time vs. Habs at TD Garden.

Oh, and.....................

**** chara
**** inginla
**** lucic
**** krug
**** thornton

On the Bruins, Marchand is an example of good sportsmanship.
