That's quite a few! For me it seems like everyone has figured out September/October is the time for weddings. I had to miss Foppa's jersey retirement to be a bridesmaid.

Thankfully, it all stops for me by the end of September and I can enjoy hockey season... but the first part of college football season is seriously disrupted.

And completely agree with the football (soccer) comment.

One of the best comebacks ever for me. Even though I do admit the ref gave us some extra, extra time in stoppage time to let Walcott score. But I think one of the reasons for it is when the Reading fans kept the ball when it went to the crowd.

It was amazing being sat amongst Reading fans as their dreams disintegrated. Walcott was the difference, and when he turned it on Reading had no answer. There was also some veryy poor Reading defending.

So...my birthday is tomorrow, but my kick-ass fiancee gave me two presents today (and she says she has more for me! )--a Landeskog white away jersey and a Saul Goodman POP! Vinyl figure!

I love this woman!

Reading the Theo Fleury autobiography. I'm not much of bookworm so it should take about a decade but what are some other good hockey books?

Yeah, I'm sensing that... what about the upcoming games?

Seems to me games are all about online like COD and world of warcraft. I want the division but it's an open world game as well. I prefer games that have a story/mission and have an end game.

I prefer stand-alone games, that I don't have to go online to play.

Dater is a ******, but Blood Feud is a good book with some interesting details. I was still younger when it happened, so some of the stuff I was not aware of completely.

I hate posting hockey-related things in the OT thread but I need someone to go find a certain game for me.

A few seasons back, Avs vs Isles, we went down 3-0 and came back to win 4-3.

Could someone find the date of this game?

Edit: In response to your hockey book question, I always recommend Pavel Bure: The Riddle of the Russian Rocket. Amazing book in my opinion

Woke up in the middle of the night hungry. Had a small bowl of fruit loops and a medium sized glass of milk. 10 minutes later I'm in my bed having what felt like what I imagine a heart attack feels like. After I was in the bathroom for half an hour being subjected to things coming out of both ends... I feel better. I've had this before but not often and not like this. I eat dairy often, not excessively, but often enough to assume I am not lactose intolerant. Perhaps I am a little bit, and since my body was just awaken it affected it more? Any of you guys had this before or know what caused it? It's like my heart and was being stabbed until I finally got rid of what was in my body...
