Back to Dubinsky---Well the Rangers recently on their official site had Maloney raving about him at the US junior camp. And I think it was mentioned he has grown some and that his skating has really improved since we drafted him.

And it's good to hear another update on Sauer. I know you're not a Ranger fan WHawk but there will at least be a few of us hoping Portland goes a long way this year.

I can't wait to see what Dubinsky does professionally in a year or two assuming he signs a contract. He's one guy I can't wait to see.

How did we acquire Dubinsky? Where does he rank among Rangers prospectS?

We drafted him in the 2nd round last year, I'd put him in the top 20, but I feel he will really move up to the top 10 after this upcomming season(dont forget a few of our top 20 now will be taken off the list). If he makes the WJ team I think he will open a lot of eyes.

dunno, i see him relegated to role player status on the WJC team if he makes it. partly because there are guys who are more talented than him, and partly because he's just not that big a name

From those that went and saw the US training camp it sounded as if Dubinsky didn't have much of a shot given the depth the US reportedly has this year.

Last year, the preliminary roster was named on November 4th. Personally, I think Dubinsky has a shot, but if named it will likely be on the third or fourth line.
