Noel 7/7 FTs. That was fun to watch. He was such a pest on defense with his unbelievable ability to swipe/strip/poke the ball off of defenders without fouling. Made some nice passes too.

And very bad news about Jackson. Season over. And with his skillset/skill level, possibly NBA career over.

Sounds like the Bucks actually want him for his play on the court and not his contract. I would imagine the Rockets would like to get something in return or give up little in addition to Lin if they can and it would seem like Milwaukee would be a better trade partner.

Bucks don't want his contract though.

No one wants his contract, but he's only signed for one more year so they could make it work.

Get all of the the picks!!

I think Hinkie is willing to take on the Lin contract. But, I have a feeling he's asking for a lot from Houston in terms of draft picks. It would give Hinkie more picks/assets to continue the rebuild.

Noel looked good in the Summer League game today. Poor Jackson, I hope he can make a full recovery.

Unless they can somehow swing another 1st out of the deal in some capacity, I say no to Lin. No reason to make this team any better for next season otherwise.

I'd be willing to bet that the sixers take on his contract and then release him, like they did with Granger last year

Better off trading him at the deadline.

I think that's a lose-lose situation, though. There are two options, 1. He plays well and ups his trade value (which we dont want since he will make the team better) or 2. Stink up the place (and then he is untradeable). I just dont see the value in keeping him around if we do pick him up

I know it was only a summer league game, but man does Noel make me excited for next year. You can tell he's got the raw talent to do some damage for the sixers, especially in the future.

Add that to some of these 2nd round picks getting their chance to shine, should be cool. Still expecting a top 5 pick next year, but I just wanna see growth.

Really wish Embiid was playing this year.

He only has one year left on his deal. If he stinks, it doesn't matter. You just let him walk at the end of the year. Lin at his best isn't going to to add many wins with the way the roster is constructed currently. Outside of that magical run he had a few seasons ago, he's been an average player- even a tick below. If Hinkie feels like he makes the team too good, you can bet your ass he'll be moved even if he has to take pennies on the dollar like the Turner trade.

I don't think I would've been able to handle the excitement if he was playing today. Good job by the GM holding him out.

How do you change the part of your username where it normally says "Registered User"?

Click your username. Then "view public profile"

Then click "customize profile"

Then using the options on the left side click "edit your details" under "your profile"

Then you will see the option "custom user title" then just change it.

Great news for the Sixers. Bosh is almost definitely going to go to Houston, so that means we might be picking up Lin and a 1st rounder.

How many season ticket holders did Miami just lose?
