Wiggins and Gordon!? Mannn one could hope. But realistically as a Flyers fan, I am used to the guy I want not being chosen. I have fully prepared myself for the Cavs to take Wiggins. I am starting to warm up to Exum though.

It's very possible this is how the top 3 plays out. FWIW I've been on the Exum to Bucks train since the lottery.

Same here on Exum. Him and MCW make quite the front court.

I have a ton of confidence in Hinkie even more than I had in Homer during drafts, even though Homer actually is a good drafting GM, whether we keep all our draft picks, well that is different.

I would be happy if Randle or Gordon feel to us. Randle because with his injury we could probably ease him slowly into the season and continue our rebuild and get another top draft pick next year. (Do any of you know how the 2015 NBA draft is shaping up?) Then 2016 we will start the dynasty.

Emmanuel Mudilay (6'5) (PG), Jalil Okafor (6'11 280 pound monster) (C) and Cliff Alexander (old school PF). Throw up for these three for first overall at the moment. Pretty comparable to the big 3 of this draft, imo, possibly better. Jalil could potentially be similiar to Shaq (high expectations, yes, but he's got the size and strength). Mudilay is comparable to Exum and Alexander is the prototypical old school PF with legit post up moves and elite defense.

I have an important question. Does Joel Embiid use a belly putter as a normal putter or does he just have a really long normal putter?

Looks like just a normal putter lol. Obviously had to get it custom fitted for him. I'm only 6'5 and had to get a custom length putter

It must be difficult playing golf that far from the ground. I'm only 5'10''. I could not imagine what it would be like at 7'0''.

I wouldn't say very possible. There's a slight chance. I think some mockers are just slotting Wiggins to the Sixers because of the so-called ties to him. A few weeks ago Chad Ford suggested that Wiggins may very well be 4th on Milwaukee's board. He has since hinted that he is starting to "grow" on them. And now with the injury to Embiid, he's that much closer to being the guy. The Bucks want to win. Wiggins is far from a finished product, but he's more NBA-ready than Exum.

Things were lining up so nicely for us, and BOOM. If Wiggins is the guy, you HAVE to get him. If you have to give up 3+10 AND Thad, so be it. Thad is just a chip at this point. He has no value to this team on the court long-term. It may hurt at first but if you don't nail the first pick, the rest of the draft matters very little.

I heard some people suggest the value of the first pick went down when Embiid went down. I actually think it's just the opposite. The once 3 man 1st tier is now down to 2, so you are going to have entice Cleveland even more to move back. If Wiggins and Parker go 1-2, that leaves Cleveland looking at Exum and Embiid and a bunch of second tier guys. Can't see that being too enticing unless they magically think Embiid will be OK, which considering they passed on Noel last year, doesn't seem very likely.

I've had Exum as my #3 guy anyway so if he is the pick, I'll get over it. It was just a big kick to the shins when I heard the news. Embiid shouldn't have even been on a court dammit!!!

Chad Ford had him there on Tuesday. Basically the Kings are eyeing a PG and he is probably the best one after Exum and Smart. They could trade the pick too.

2015 is almost the perfect compliment to this year's draft. Tons of big men. Not as hyped as this year, but someone is due to emerge.

Okafor, Alexander, Towns, Porzingis (who just withdrew from this draft), Cauley-Stein, Harrell, Chris Walker....

It's crazy. If you need a 1 or 2, better get them this year.

I think in my mind there are only 3 players I want: Wiggins, Parker, and Exum, in that order. I don't really want Embiid, plus we already have a potential franchise center. Don't really want Exum either, but I'm warming up to him, and think a backcourt of Exum/MCW could be ridiculous since they both can drive to the basket and are elite defenders. REALLY want Wiggins though, I think we should do anything possible to get #1.

I dont think the sixers would do 3rd plus 10. I'd offer 3rd plus Thad plus 2 2nds though

Reportedly the Jazz are offering #5 and Favors to move up to 1. If they still want Embiid and think he'll be there at 5, it's a no brainer for them.

Someone on Facebook posted that there's a rumor in la that they're going to trade Nash and their first round pick for Thad and mcw. Anyone else see that?

That doesn't make sense. MCW + Thad is plenty enough for #7 let alone taking on Nash's contract too.

A mock draft on sports center has us taking Vonleh at 3 and Embiid at 10

I would love Embiid at 10. However, he will not get by the Celtics or Lakers, unless something else health-wise surfaces. But I am not crazy about Vonleh at 3.

I still think Hinkie will manage to make a trade with either the Bucks or Cavs. If the Cavs take Parker, which is the most likely scenario, the Bucks trade seems pretty smart for both sides.

#2 overall (wiggins) for #3 overall (exum), Thad, 32nd pick, 39th pick.

Bucks get a player that can help immediately and fills a position of need more than Wiggins. They also get some depth picks and Thad.

We get... "our man".

I could see that. But I'm starting to think the Cavs take Wiggins unfortunately. Most pundits have them in the same tier and he's a better fit than Parker. Picking Wiggins gives them a wing defender and it also means more playing time for Bennett.

Are hope for the Cavs is that they are still in love with Embiid and are willing to trade back to 3 and get him.
