Just one.
Eh, not Clarkson..

I don't know what prompted Prust to wait until Game 3 of the ECF to start playing with intensity. He was a beast.

These are exactly the types of goals you need against NYR.
Lundqvist give up LONG rebounds the Rangers D play the odds and give up the in tight stuff.
The good news is the series is back where it should be 2-1 NYR.

Worst. Freaking. Differential. In. The. Playoffs.

He's the worst in +/- among active players. Getting defensive responsibilities also means keeping the puck out of our zone and limit the opponent's possession time. He has spent all of this round and the last one in his own end...

Pleks deserved to be hated. Enough with those NAME haters....When a guy does a great play, it doesn't mean he was playing great before. But on that play, at least he shot on the net.

Awful game to watch. Rangers looked superior everywhere but Montreal somehow managed to win. Can't believe how weak was Montreal's transition. Props to Tokarski for keeping his team in it.

Some bad calls from the referees again tonight (looks like it's Montreal that is getting the phantom calls). Gallagher's penalty was the worst.

I like to say that I called it.....reverse wise. I said I would have gone with Budaj instead of Tokarski.... I still have it

You want to win big? Ask me my predictions, and do the opposite...you will be rich!

The Montreal Canadians ability to grab goaltending gems lives on, what a talent we have in getting goalies. Ed Snyder would have 5 cups if he and his staff had our goalie scouting.

+/- actually does show a decent trend for who has been good defensively (or at least offensively) in the playoffs.

The one exception is Francis Bouillon. Although, he was really only bad against Boston. I'd almost *ALMOST* be willing to put up with Boo again in place of Emelin.

Seems like some fans can't appreciate garbage goals, even though a garbage goal spurred the Kings yesterday as well. Traffic goals are just as normal in the playoffs as pretty goals, if not moreso.

Don't you go around whining about how stats tell us nothing? All you do is bash stats between the posts bashing Plekanec and here you are using stats to crap on Plekanec?

Why the change of heart of the use of stats all of a sudden?

Plekanec has been pretty solid for most of the playoffs outside of these last three games and game 5 in Boston.

If you can give a pass to Prust from being brutal for 90% of the playoffs, I think we can give a pass to Plekanec who hasn't been hot for about 20% of it.

Thats the baffling part of this Forum.

Two key players having a tough series.

One gets bashed. One gets a pass.

Makes for interesting reading post game though. Especially after the bashed player sets up the GWG in OT.
