I'm up at 11am on Friday...subscriber since '01.

Regardless of what's available, I'm not really sure what kind of a relocation I'm looking for. My Gallery seats in 221, Row 2 on the aisle are awesome, so I'm not looking to move those.
My other pair of Gallery seats in 217, Row 2 are also solid and I have enjoyed sitting there. However, quite a few people have an aversion to sitting behind the net (even on the good end.) Assuming I can't move to Gallery seats a few sections closer to center, I'm not sure if I'm better off dropping back a few rows to non-gallery seats closer to center or sticking with what I've got. Something to think about the next few days.

Anybody here dropping 2nd row gallery seats in sections 213,214,or 221 ? Looking to move from 1st row Gallery seats in section 220 2nd choice would be 1st row Gallery in sections 213 or 221. Probably a long shot since I need 4 seats in a row

You have good seniority, so assuming this year downgrades are permitted online then I'd say you have a decent chance at getting what you want

Not only are you allow to downgrade, you can also add seats at the same time.

Kudos to the Rangers for doing this. (The yankees can learn a thing or two).

You need to check constantly until the deadline of July 2. You don't know what seniority STs has those seats that you want.

So is it confirmed that they shrunk the cap to 4 seats per account for non-grandfathered STHs?

My appt is monday at 10 - Full STH since '07. I have 4 seats so doubtful I'll be able to make a significant move.

I don't remember when, maybe 08 or 09 they asked if I wanted to add a pair but I declined. I haven't had the opportunity again since then but not sure if I'd change my mind.

That's funny because on the other side Knicks fans loath and despise Friday games yet they keep getting walloped with a ton of them every season

I prefer Saturday night games myself for hockey, but pretty much anything is better than an afternoon game, except that it's good to have some to take the kids

I think it is unfair to let you add tickets at the same time. Everyone should have the opportunity to relocate and then what's left should be available to add. I dont imagine there will be anthing left for relocating in uppers for most. People with seniority will just add additional tickets before lower seniority people have the chance to move. If you have the opportunity to add 2 uppers together, you can make a good amount of money by just selling all the tickets.

I have 4 seats and wanted to add 2 more but they wont let you add if you have 4 seats already, I think this number was higher in the past. I'm not complaining about that, it isnt fair that I would have 6 seats when there's people on the waitlist who cant get 1. I think it is just an indicator of increased demand.

If you were not permitted to add seats while you relocated, I would guess that by the time came along for you to add your seats that you'd have almost a zero chance of getting all your seats together, assuming you wanted to create a block of 4.

I am STH for 6 years and one of my pairs is upper piggybacks and I'm worried about not being able to move them side by side. I'm not expecting to have an opportunity to get 4 together.

Monday at 2 pm. I'm in 208. I would love to add a third. The guy next to me has 7 seats for over 20 years. I'm there 5 years. Fingers crossed he wants to give one back or the guy next to me with two doesn't re-up.

The Rangers always let you downgrade until they started the transformation of the Garden. It was explained to me by someone who works at MSG that they allowed downgrades only if requested and under special circumstances the reason being that MSG felt if they had open downgrades it would be too confusing because they had to fill in too many gaps due to sections being changed and being knocked out. I also heard that a lot of existing STHs have requested to add more seats to their account. 4 seats is the max. unless you are already grandfathered in but I wouldn't be surprise if the right people were contacted they might make exceptions to that also.

Idk if I'm more jealous that I had to go through a rep last year to get in the door, or that I have a year on you but still have the same appt time. Good luck, bud... Unless we want the same seats.

Given how this year went....I assume that very, very few season tix will be given up this year.

All upgrades downgrades will be taken from last years unsold pool?

Am I correct.

Are there many "quality" seats available?

Depends what you mean by quality. Great seats? Sure. Great value seats? Ehhh. Granted, others would know better than I, but that's the impression I get based on what I've read and what a rep told me last year as I was getting in the door.

You've basically answered my question. Thank you.

I haven't been able to successfully upgrade in 15 years.

Some years I thought I had a chance.

This year? I suspect, Not a chance.

Not once in 15 years? Where are your seats and what would you consider an upgrade?
I've upgraded 3 or 4 times in 13 years...but I started in the back of the old 200s on the bad end.

210 row 2 in the middle of the section (I was row 1 before the renovation). I'm trying to move closer to center ice while staying in row 2.

I started in the early 90's in section 306 row 1 but they got me for $17 a tix.

Well those are awesome seats. Hard to do much better than the Row 2 Galleries.
