Boston has little depth on defense. They won't be trading their one young stud.

It's decent value wise, but we only have Boynton. He's our one young star on defense, so he can't be traded, unless it's in an expanded package for an elite level d-man, which isn't very likely.

No way we're trading Boynton without getting a d-man back.

no. This could NEVER happen for so many different reasons...here's a few off the top of my head:

Nick Boynton is NOT being traded. Boston is weak on defense. Boston is STACKED in forwards. Boston has enough solid forward prospects. There is no room for Cammallerri. Nick Boynton is NOT being traded. Boston has a weak defense that is a gazillion times worse without Boynton. Cammallerri is not a defenseman. Nick Boynton is NOT being traded.

How bout this trade?

To LA: Andy Hilbert, Lars Jonsson, and Andrew Alberts
To Bos: Mattias Norstrom

The Kings have the same problem. Too many forwards, not enough defensemen. Why trade our captain and probably our best defensemen, for some prospects?

I luv Squid but given Boston's defense, Boynton is untouchable.

I'd be all over that if I were the Kings. What is Norsrtom's salary though?

He's hardly terrible. He's an offensive defenseman that needs to work on his defensive abilities. What do you expect of him?

Mr.Nugs...I dont hate GILL....I just dont like him.........very much

But all honesty, I dont have a problem keeping him. I just think our team lacks right-handed dmen. He would help our young dmen like Stuart/Boynton play the body

Terrible is Tom Poti, or Andy Delmore. I have faith in him still.

Well the way defensemen have been dealt this summer, I think that's a far cry. Seems like teams just want to deal picks and not players back for 'em, a la Lydman and Markov.

From what I saw when he played the Bruins, he has some serious passing skills, but every once inawhile he makes stupid mistakes in his own zone

i'm not sure which game the Grebs played against the Bruins...but he only played a handful of games with the Kings...the first 2, I remember, he really impressed everybody with his poise and skill in passing and puckhandling...then the mistakes started coming
