I know that I don't know how things will play out next season, but I'm really bummed that Tigh is a cylon. I could live with the other three, especially Anders and the President's assistant, but the Colonel as a cylon kind of sucks. I know, I know, they can take this in many directions and in the end it might not turn out to be that bad of a thing, but it still sucks for now.

I didn't really like the episode until after the court stuff. After that, I really enjoyed it, especially the Watchtower thing, that was great. Its such a recognizable song I wonder if they are hearing it, and it was written on earth or what. That would be pretty sweet.

Jimi Hendrix or Bob Dylan as the fifth cylon would be an interesting twist.

well, I guess all questions get answered next season.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The upcoming fourth season of Sci Fi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica" will be its final one after all.

After months of speculation, the show's producers are set to make the announcement at a press conference Friday.

I saw a rumor on this a few weeks ago, but didn't post it since it was only a rumor. It is official now.

It's a smart move.

Tie up all the plot lines in a final season.

Sucks it only latest 4 seasons though. I would have liked it to go to at least 5, it had a huge amount of potential.

I was wondering if any of you might have copies of the entire 3rd season. The offical release has been pushed back to the start of the new year but I was hoping to see them earlier. I missed a bunch on the tube so that's why I am looking for copies anyone may have to share. Don't worry I buy all the seasons when they actually come out, I just don't want to have to wait so long to see them. Let me know and thanks as always to everyone.

This thread must be a Cylon, because it just resurrected.

Just finished watching the series for the second time.

Without giving it a second thought, BSG was, and is the best TV I've ever watched. Nothing even comes remotely close.

Every thing about the show was done to perfection. I honestly don't know if there will ever be another show (in the Sci-fi genre at least) that will ever trump it.

Too bad Blood and Chrome sucked so badly--there was a 30 minute spoiler on line a few months ago and it is easy to see why it never went to series. Supposed to air in 2013 now.
Although it sounds like even if it went to series Luke Pasqualino had no interest in doing it.

I still like the orginal series as corny as it was.

The reboots final two hours was a wild ride

I've watched it twice as well, contemplating a third time!

I also watched this entire show for the first time recently (just finished last episode a couple weeks ago) and it is by far one of, if not the best show I've ever seen. Some of the characters were beyond incredible and the show had a massive emotional pull to it. Flawless.

Bump, can't get enough of BSG.

Finished re-downloading the Pilot + All the seasons in 720p after having to reformat.

I thought the last season dragged too much for my liking and they took the story way too off course with some really unnecessary plot developments.

I really think they could have condensed everything into three seasons and had a better impact for it's closure. TV shows go on for way to long these days.

I tend to agree, somewhat. I don't think Ronald D. Moore had a clue as how to end BSG, thus everything leading up to the finale in the last season was hoveled together rather rapidly.

That being said, BSG is still the best TV show I have ever watched. Even the last season which had some gaping, and rather annoying plot holes was great and amazing TV.

If by 'best' you mean Perennial ****-turd who endangers his own species due to a case of Robot Yellow Fever, then yes I agree.

Just watched Blood and Chrome. Too bad it didn't get green-lit for series - it was quite good. Coming off the heels of "The Plan" and "Caprica," it was nice to finally have some quality BSG again.

Blood and Chrome was ok, and I hoped that it would have been picked up as a series. Unfortunately though the guys who made B&C went with doing business with Syfy, again. They should have tried to go with the Canadian Space channel instead.

Anyways, I'm starting up my yearly re-watch of BSG. Currently on the first Season watching the episode 'Water'. I think Water is one of the best episodes of the series.

- Sharon finding that she has stolen the detonators from the armory, and begins to question her blackouts
- Tigh taking Starbucks insults to heart, and taking the first steps to right his alcoholism
- Apollo being haunted over having to destroy the Olympic Carrier
- The Galactica's water supply getting destroyed/damaged
- Billies horrible skill with women
- Roslin and Adama trying to appease each other
