A bit of an overexaggeration don't you think? I honestly don't see what's wrong with this.

Holy overreaction, Batman.

He had a pretty good year last year and the KHL is way above the CHL. And he's gonna get some money. Good for him. Doesn't mean he won't be in the NHL in a few years.

Also, you've got to consider the new policy for older players in the Q. Their allocation went from 550$ a week to 150$. That's pretty insulting when you consider that the CHL is far from being a true amateur league. Might have been a factor in his decision.

Sounds like a very bright young man. The Habs are trying to get bigger and Reway is a smaller player whose high skill game is enhanced by a larger ice surface. I wish him the best.

Not at all.

No character. Shows that he's a quitter. Stay home, Reway. Not the type of character Berg is looking for.

Never had much hope for him, but this it's not like playing in the K makes him any lesser a prospect.

Who cares, he's 5'9" tall

I want guys the size of Pacioretty with the heart of Weise on the wings! Not a 5'9" soft, quitter that won't do anything in the playoffs.

Oh well. This guy was never gonna make it anyway. When you're a manlet you need to compensate with hard work and passion, like Brendan Gallagher. Martin Reway is not a Brendan Gallagher, he's just a little quitter. Corey Locke 2.0.

Who cares? Another small dude. He won't make the Habs lineup anyway.

Tinordi, Beaulieu, DLR, Crisp, Hudon, McCarron are the future.

I hope the next to leave is Andrighetto. If we want to make the Habs bigger, we need to start by making the Bulldogs bigger.

What is this obsession with size? Look at the rangers, they got to the Cup with a bunch of smaller speedy players

Not really...

KHL sure is a better league but I don't think it's good news having a 19 yo prospect who feels entitled and who thinks he's too good for junior when many more better players than him have played in this league. He wasn't dominating, he was just one of the good players in the league.

Locke was fine, he had a lot of spunk too. He was just way too slow for his size. He was one of the most hyped prospects we had at one point. Him and Milroy were huge letdowns.

Reway wants to turn pro, either he'll play in Montréal next year or he'll go to Europe.

1 year in KHL before AHL might be good for him.

Playing with and against grown men, in the KHL, will show us whether Reway has what it takes to succeed at the next level. After two seasons in the "Q." Reway had a total of 112 pts. in 90 games. Impressive.

Only downside, other than his stature, is that Reway suffers from the injury bug. Which in itself, could be related to his lack of size/strength. Hopefully he plays for the Slovaks again at the WJC.
