Removing stuck bearings

I've never been able to not remove bearings, but the time has come and I'm getting more and more frustrated the longer I try.

I've tried wd40, banging this way, banging that way....nothing. Using the standard allen wrench/bearing remover tool.

Any tips/techniques to get a stuck bearing out? Without destroying the bearing or the wheel.....

I always use a roll of tape flat on a table, place the wheel on top, and then use a hammer to drive out the bearing with a few gentle taps of the round strong part of the removal tool. Never had any problems with it.

They make allen wrench tools that have a stepped bit useful for knocking them out. Basically put it into place, hold the 2 together, and smack it on the ground or whatever to force it out. You could, and I have, also do the same "beat the heck out of it" move with a larger-than-the-bearing-width allen wrench, screwdriver, or any sort of item.
