Ugh

Isles commentator mentioned Madden was holding his injured hand heading back to the bench.

5-1 Isles in the 3rd period

Devils are having a rotten 3rd period on faceoffs. Rough nights for Brodeur, Rupp, Suglobov, Gionta, Rafalski, etc...

Here here! Time for the real season to begin. Stevens' comments regarding the preseason being far too long and being more tiresome when they played the same team for half of it are on target.

Potvin sucks!!!!

Potvin takes it up the rear, doo-da, doo-da...

Pre-season means nothing. Just curious, but how was David Hale abused? Did he get beaten a lot? The guy is a physical force. If he doesn't play a physical game, he is just another good defenseman. But he has the potential to be a great one; somewhere between Kenny Daneyko and Scotty Stevens. Hale is a warrior. If healthy, he could be a special player. He probably needs some time in Albany, so we better sign Tommy Albelin before the Rangers do.

was beaten multiple times on the rush. Czerkawski and Parrish made him look silly a few times. He is a kid though and its a learning experience. I think it was him, that on the first shift of the game that Peca drilled with an open ice hit. I found Paul Martin to be very impressive
