I'm still a fan of the robo penguin jerseys. I know Pens fans hate it for the time it represents, but damn those were slick ass jerseys.

Wild lose Josh Harding for months because he... kicked a wall and fractured his foot.

Pretty dumb move in more than one way. At his age and his contract status and his MS issue, he might've just sealed his chance at getting a big contract next July.

a lot of injuries for teams so early in training camp. Rangers just lost stepan with a broken fibula.

Staal out
Stepan out.

The supply of centers in the NHL is dwindling.

McDavid / Eichel chances are strong here.

Carolina isn't very strong on defense either.

Well, if Ron Francis had to pick a year to tank, this is the year.

You look at the East... there's Carolina and Buffalo as the clear basement dwellers and a hodgepodge of playoff/non-playoff teams that are bad or just mediocre...

Then there's the Western Conference. I'm fairly sure the Flames would be contenders for the playoffs in the East.

Took a look at the SJ Sharks GDT. Epic parody of Guardians of the Galaxy. Worth a look. We have some talented people here as well, but those Sharks GDT's are a thing of beauty.

With Monahan sick, Calgary's potential first line center could be Joe Colbourne.

....Yikes.

I believe this draft could mark the raise of the East again. Buffalo is building a powerhouse, I hate to say it, but they are going to be a force IF they get McDavid. Carolina getting Eichel will make them a good team as well. Staals + Lindholm+ Fluery + Eichel is a good core. Not to mention CLB and Tampa building great teams
