Tough opening act for Isles
No team during the Islanders' 31 NHL seasons has opened on the road
as often as the Isles. In fact, the Islanders have opened the season
in Los Angeles more times (5) than they have at home. They have a
better record, too, going 3-2-0 on opening nights in Hollywood while
splitting their four season-openers on Long Island.

Nylander's out, Jagr has an injury, Isles have six preseason wins and going into game seven have no major injuries?
I'm glad the Isles are opening in Washington. Wish they would open a season at home, however.
