Fair enough.

Also, I am not sure what's happening here in this celly.

Think it's for his pregnant wife.

So he's just ripping off Brandon Jacobs? That's no fun.

And whoa 3-1.

Is Costa Rica over Uruguay an upset or what?

No it's not. Spain losing is one thing. But them getting destroyed like that is a way bigger surprise than Suarez-less Uruguay losing to anyone, let alone a Costa Rican team that proved to be pretty decent in qualifying.

Rooney with a terrible match. This English team has no finish.

That balotelli header was nuts. England couldn't get anything going offensively and had awful shots on net.

It looked like the Ivory Coast fans cheering the goal had a mannequin with them in the stands.

I love random World Cup weirdness.

Japan looks tired as hell at the end here. Also Drogba is doing work tonight.

Netherlands had the chance to win, even before the game.

Uruguay was the hands down favorite, made the semis 4 years ago and still has great players like 40 million Cavani and Godin, Lugano, Rodriguez and still Forlan.

This is the biggest surprise so far, no doubt about it. Nobody thought Costa Rica would even be able to score a goal

welp, in Germany we want to see them but already prepare for disappointment. We already make up excuses.

Excuses for what? Having the best team in the tourney?

Can you not read? I said, losing was one thing, but losing by 4 (FOUR!!!!!) was entirely another. Way more shocking than any Uruguay loss.

I know what you wrote, but there was never any thought that Costa Rica would even have a chance to end up with a draw.

Go to the main and ask this question. Pretty sure most will agree that this was the most shocking moment so far. Not to mention that Uruguay is almost eliminated now already.

It's the loss against Costa Rica, a team that was seen as going out of the tourney with 0 pts (thanks to the group)

Costa Rica is long on heart and hard work. Lot of the "lesser" WC teams are. You're at the dance for a reason.

Exactly how much less could you care?

Argentina beats B&H 2-1
