Looks like it might be opposite of last season, playing the Pacific swing at the beginning of the schedule instead of at the end. I like that. Get the valley of death trip over with right away.

Well it's clear that with the Coyotes imminent name change and their home opener being against Winnipeg that there will be some sort of ceremony that night and an official handover of the Jets 1.0 record book.

We are in the West now, they might have two Pacific trips.

We'll go to LA twice, but Anaheim, San Jose, and Phoenix once.

Anaheim opens in Pittsburgh. We'll either play LA or Van/Cal/Edm after Sj I would guess.

Lots of Sunday matinees.
No home doubleheaders with the Blue Bombers.
New Years Eve game still on tap versus the Islanders...

Weird. We end the season against Calgary for the second year in a row IIRC

Combined with the Saturday evening games rather than afternoons, I like this schedule from a selfish perspective as I hate Saturday matinees and Sunday evening games.

Totally agree. Hate Sunday eve games too and love matinees as I have a young family (yes I know I am in the minority). Makes no difference to me Saturday or Sunday. But clearly this schedule has a lot to do with rogers looking to ramp up Sunday hockey in Canada. And looks like most of the early Sunday games have been dumped over to TSN-Jets...
