Already working out some numnebrs on my Jets road trip this year. Some great looks. The Kings Ducks in 2 days in Jan looks beautiful. The Islanders/Devils/Rangers/Blackhawks 4 games October/November I priced out already at just 700 for a flight to NYC from YYC, to Chicago from NYC, then back home to Calgary. Could be expensive with tickets and hotel tho.

At least we make life easier for the Panthers....

They only have to come to Western Canada once that way. The Jets only have to go from Anaheim to Winnipeg to Dallas and play 3 games in 5 days. No biggie.

Question for Winnipeg folks. How easy are single game tickets to a Jets game to find? I had a ***** of a time the first season and want to go back.

Not too hard to find, depending somewhat on who the opponent is, day of the week etc.

I hate the Sunday afternoon games as I work Sunday - Thursday. Wish there was a Leafs + Sabres away games together (maybe add the Red Wings as well). Panthers + Lightning in March and the Phoenix, Ducks, Kings trip in January look good to plan a vacation around.

Am I reading the Sportsnet broadcast schedule correctly? Some of their games will be telecast on FX Canada? (FX-CA)

They only come to Calgary once next season - February 2 damn

I suppose I could head up to edmonton for a game if I have the time....

My only other option is Xmas time jets games. But those are generally very tough to go to (tickets)

On the flip side I will have an nhl network package on TV till December so I think this can work out well

So it looks like Dallas is the short team this season (4 games only) ... unless I missed one.

The schedule through to the start of November is pretty soft, excepting the opening road trip. So they need to be all ready to go since if they're not a few over .500 by the end of that it's going to be a bad sign.

Yes, according to Sportsnet website, FX Canada will be carrying some of the national games.

Looks like the 10/19 flames, 10/21 canes or 10/24 lightning games will be my targets. hopefully one of these early season games against non prime opponents will be easy to snag.

Looks like they are picking up some NBCSN broadcasts on Saturday night, games involving 2 American teams. Those are the ones on FX and SN1.

A cable channel.

I have basic Shaw plus 3 tiers and I get it, so it's not that obscure.

Really dislike how the Minnesota games worked out this year. Think they are even worse than last year's games there.

One on sunday, one on saturday and one on easter monday doesn't sound too bad. IIRC there was only 2 games last year.
