Oshie's a good player, no doubt about it, but I think he's become a bit overrated since the olympics. Given that he's ( Oshie )only 2 years younger and isn't a centre, I'd rather have Kesler. STL would probably have to add another piece. Nothing major, but another piece nonetheless.

What? What bottom six player that you know of has scored 20 goals twice and 19 once at the age of 26?

Would have to be more coming to Toronto than just Berglund for Kadri IMO...

Would be monumentally stupid for the Leafs to give up Kadri for Berglund straight up.

Move Kadri to the wing. Backes and Kesler as their top 2 centers. It'd be insane for St.Louis to run with those 2 lines. Both can score, and both can shut down. There's a reason why both of them won selkes.

Kesler for Oshie? Yes, please.

Blues should do either of those deals if they are in fact on the table.

I honestly think Kadri's value around here has tanked just by nature of him wearing a Leafs jersey...

Both Spezza and Kadri wouldn't fit Hitchcock system, neither can play defense worth a crap. They'd have to have someone holding their hands.

St. Louis would have to add another piece in the Berglund-Kadri deal

Serious question to Blues fan as I've rarely watched them play this year. Is Berglund a top defensive forward or something similar? Just looking at the stats, I would be very hesitant to give up Kadri for him.

Input is appreciated

Wow Benning is approaching some interesting players. If it was Gillis we probably wouldn't see the Canucks in this article. But I prefer the Ducks getting Kesler cause of Etem + Perrault + OTT 10th.

Bolland is not better than Berglund.

And again...the Leafs approached the Blues. So I am assuming Bolland priced himself out of Toronto at this point.

Could all be a smoke screen to lower the price on Spezza.

I wouldn't listen to anything Kypreos says personally. He's an idiot.

Interesting. Is that why Spezza and the Blues have been linked since day 1 of this?

Put me in the corner that thinks Kadri for Berglund is bad for Toronto. A 3rd line C who has only produced as a 3rd line C for a 2nd line C who one year produced as a 1st liner...while on the 3rd line...lol.

If Philly wasn't deep at C I would have no issue with Kadri as the #2C for offence and run G, Kadri, Couts.

What kind of 26 year old player who's only scored 20 twice is worth a 23 year old who's scored at a 0.75 over the last two seasons?

See how that works...

Kypreos didn't say the Leafs approached the Blues.

So I'm not sure where you're getting that information.

One that can play both ends of the ice and score 20 and isn't a little diver?

See how that works?

For God sakes why!? I get that Berglund might be slightly better than Kadri at this point... but Kadri is by far more offensive than him, and will only continue to get better. I don't see the same out of Berglund.

defensively he is.

Bolland + Kadri > Berglund

Obviously this could change based on what/if St. Louis adds.
