On another note, 3 playrs from st pierre came back last week after they played with France U16 "Le tournoi des capitales". They done quite well. One of them scored a hat trick in semi final. They played against England, Prague, Paris and Stockholm.

Forza Diables Rouges
ho yes really? i friend of mine is playing D with Briançon. a good player on theur team. Ask him what he thinks about Gary Leveque, i bet he likes him.
I'll be studying in Rouen next winter and would love to take in a game at some point, especially after reading about how dominant their club was.
Can anyone give me more info about the team and the league? Is there an official site somewhere? Where does the team play its home games?
Also, for those of you who live in France, how much do tickets to games typically run? Also, a little off topic, but is it easy to buy French club hockey jerseys in France (like easy to find them?), and are they expensive?

here is the site of the french hockey federation, poor site for the moment 'cause hockey is newly independant since a few month. It used to depend of the french ice sports federation.
For the arena, i can't find any official website. i only know that they play aht the Patinoire Ile la Croix wich has a capacity of approximately 2700.
And finally for the jerseys, i'v no idea if it's easy or not to get some. I guess in Rouen it should be quite easy 'cause every time i see a game on Tv, many people in the stands seem to have one. And it should be easier in Rouen than elsewhere in France...Rouen is France's hockeytown.
If you need any other info, a friend of mine plays with the junior team of the club (which also won French championship this year) so don't hesitate, if i can help you, ask me.
unfortunatly Briançon lost again the finals for the French Cup, losing vs Dijon 3-2 in overtime. http://www.hockeyarchives.info/Francecoupe2006.htm
Briançon now has some troubles and at this point it's unclear if they'll manage to play in Magnus next season.
You will find easily some jerseys in every rink, each team has a little shop during the games. It's easier for Rouen because I think the team has a shop all the year near the rink. Rouen is the biggest club by far, with the most money and the best players... even in the youth categories.
