No is the wrong answer, but I'd say very probably no.

If he has a french passport (does he?) he'd need to play 4 years in France to be able to play for France. And I don't think that a 2nd rounder wants to do this.

Rouen and Dijon face-off today in Coupe de France final.
Supposed to be 13,000 at the Omnisports Arena in Paris.
Would be a nice feather in the Cap for Rouen after recently winning the Continental Cup.
If anyone has any videos of the game today please share.

the question was just asked about Sauve a few posts ago..
http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...&postcount=200

dont know why lacroix would be able to play for them unless he has a passport.. shows he was born in QC and never played any hockey in france as far as I can tell.

Does anyone know anything about Antoine Roussel? He's been playing in the AHL the last two seasons and is apparently a good checking-line player. I know he's represented France in International play before. I've never seen him play, but do any French fans here think he has an NHL future or at least a place in the top European leagues (SEL, FEL, KHL, NLA, etc.)?

For anybody who has seen him play, how do you Gabriel Girard will do this season with Epinal? The youngest of a trio of goalies who are all under 23 years old, he is pencilled in to be the starter right now. The club picked him over established goalies on mens level like Szuper, Sopko, Hocevar, Žabotinskis and Lūsiņš.

Both he and his agent also confirmed he wishes to play for France

he started off really well, then he started to suck big time before getting injured.

Antoine Roussel is doing good thus far, he netted 2 goals in 7 games with dallas. Don't know if he can keep the pace though..
