Foods that bind you up
So, foods with lots of fiber (like prunes) are supposed to make you more "regular." Which foods have the opposite effect? Which foods bind you up?
I think we can all use a little binding now and then.

Does not matter, it will bind you up. Are you going to argue with a nurse? Don't put butter on it, ding dong.

Well not really a food, but Alcohol stops you up since it slows the digestive system.

Well.....
I have an ulcer, so pretty much anything "binds me up"
What does it the most: Mexican (other spicy food too) and alcohol, but I'm not giving up either for now.

See your doctor. You are on your way to an ulcer. They can give you some medicine to coat your stomach if you insist on doing this. A GI bleed is not fun. Chronic diarrhea may not be related to the chronic NSAID abuse. See your doctor. Just sayin.

Cheese binds me up big time. Other than that, I have a problem with the opposite.
And, like Darth, some people think I am full of ****.

Matzhoh. (Jewish flat bread) But the hand made stuff from New York works best. It is available once a year a few months before Passover and costs a lot. But growing up in a jewish house the one thing that I could always count on come passover time was a serious case of constipation. I woudl tell my non jewish friends that my diet consisted of Matzhoh and prunes to regulate my system.

Who the hell puts butter on rice?
When I was living in Victoria I lived with this Mormon family for a year and they put butter on pretty much everything. One night we were having rice, the lady of the house was smearing butter all over her rice noticed I never put any on mine and asked me about it, I just said I only put butter on toast.
Oh, and popcorn. And some vegetables.
But rice, no.

You said you eat Advil like candy. I don't call that exactly use.
Make up your mind. You asked a question, I answered, I'm out.
Maybe I am one of those people
All I wanted was a freakin vacation from this.

Rope binds me up pretty often.
But then again that stuff's got a lot of fiber, and it's so hard to chew!

Spinach is very binding.
Anything high in iron is generally binding.

Would anyone believe me if i said nothing?
Because quite honestly, their is not a specific food that binds me up. It sometimes happens when i eat a combination of things, but even then different combinations....
