Greg Koehler

I know I know, 99% of you is thinking "Who the hell is Greg Koehler???"
He's a career minor leaguer who had 2 stints with the Narchs the past 2 AHL campaigns, and he just signed a 1 year contract with the local team (the Vipers) here in Milano. So, KB, Reggie, KMGDC & Co., I need some info about this guy...

Thanks in advance,

Albi

I need to prefeace this with Monarchs23 was probably as responsible as anyone for Koehler's second stint with the Narchs...She was a fan of Greg's and when the Monarchs were down on numbers a couple of seasons ago she contacted management on a regular basis until they brought him back....It was during his second stint that he ruptured his spleen during a game and had to have emergency surgery...When I saw Koehler listed on eurohockey.net today, it brought back a lot of memories of Jen...

I liked him when he was in Manchester. Good skater with better than average vision. He was used in both checking and scoring line roles. He's better at the scoring line role but isn't bad defensively. He played Center and Wing while with the Monarchs...

Check out this bit of Koehler history:

Great post KB. We in Monarchs Country still think of Monarchs23 (Jen) often. A point of interest, Koehler, Jen & I share the same birthday.
