Hockey players are not built to wear tight black pants... Also we have some funny looking prospects

I think Horvat can probably decapitate someone with his thighs.

Man people in this thread......

"Gaunce's hair seems odd..." "Horvat looks fat ...." "Shinkaruk is too skinny..."

Is this a hockey forum or a metrosexual round up?

From left to right: Fox, Forsling, Demko, Cederholm.

Forsling kinda looks like Dalpe

Cederholm shaved his head and looks about 5x meaner than he did before

He also has some Bieksa-esque gorilla biceps

Thanks, guys. I've been out of the loop (wildlife photography in Botswana and Zimbabwe, where hockey isn't too big )

Surprised at Fox's urbane flow, and awed by Cederholm's "I'm your cellmate" look.

Just knitpicking, but I never knew white water rafting was supposed to be intimidating? I've done the Whistler route twice years ago, was pretty fun albeit a bit on the pricey side. The tour guided trip isn't the least bit dangerous, and it's not like they're going to take our prized prospects down some death trap

I think all this is tongue-in-cheek. You're right, no way there's a serious risk with prized draft picks. Even the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon isn't a serious risk, especially if guided by professionals, just wild fun in a bucking raft.

I think they wanted the guys to do fun local stuff together to help build a sense of community between them.

Gaunce looks diabolical to me. If Horvat is Superman, Gaunce is Lex Luther.

It's been asked a few times and no ones answered. Does anyone know if tomorrow is open to the public? I know in years past it has been, but the lack of any real schedule concerns me.

Exactly. It's all about building relationships between them, friendships, common time together.

I believe that would be the Nahatlatch or the Stein Rivers.

Yeah a lot of the guys seem really gregarious (eg Hunter, Cassels, Virtanen), it probably really helps bring everyone together. Maybe they can make McCann less angry

I'm cautiously optimistic about our last two drafts. The future of the franchise really depends on getting at least 3 players from each draft playing in the NHL. Jensen and Corrado from 2011 look ready to take the next step, Gaunce and Hutton from 2012 could make it. But everything hinges on the success of the 2013 and 2014 drafts.

I'm encouraged to see the organization taking these steps to get the boys bonding together asap.

The new Kesler? McCann, Fox or Shinkaruk...

Well the new Kesler is Miller. But the new *young* Kesler can't be Shink, he's way too sunny. It's gotta be Fox or McCann.
Trouble is, the McCann family seems way too nice, and Fox seems to be shedding his dead-end image, so maybe that gets us back to Ryan Miller
