He was gushing pretty good from the mouth/nose area after a Mccammond high stick in the first period, and hasn't played since?

He was looking really good in the first before it happened...

All I know is he took 17 stitches and he's gone for the game.

I've always thought that if you take a penalty for injuring a player, you should not be allowed back on the ice till after the injured player comes back. I'm sure we'd see a lot less stupid penalties like high sticking.

MacTavish said in a post game interview that by the they were done patching him up, Isbister had cooled off and wasn't feeling too well, but that he would be fine, so I think he'll be there on Thursday.

If you did that and a star high sticked someone the guy would stay out of the game on purpose...that just wouldnt work

edit - Then again, maybe the "star" should keep his stick down. I don't know. I guess I'm just tired of guys not being accountable for their stupidity.

Not a pretty sight let me tell you. It's all between his nose and his top lip (including the lip itself). Nasty looking and I'm sure quite painful.

I think if a player is injured that bad with that many stitches the guilty player should be tossed from the game.
