Dear Lord baby Jesus, lyin' there in your ghost manger, just lookin' at your Baby Einstein developmental videos, learnin' 'bout shapes and colors. I would like to thank you for Marian Gaborik. Now please make Chicago sign Toews and Kane to 12 mil per year deals each.
Thank you baby Jesus

Yep they have been sent to cap hell. Philly isn't as bad because of LTIR.

Boston gambled and lost in the second round. They'll be in a very tough spot next year.

Philly is still in trouble. They'll have like 4.7 mil of cap space with 18 players under contract.
They need
a backup goalie
a 7th dman
and a 12th and 13th forward

If they can trade Vinne L without taking any or very little $$ back, that'll help, but they are still up against it

Good luck with that.

Philly is as bad.

$72,146,190 committed to 19 players.

Granted, they lose Progner's $4.9 million with LTIR. But still puts them at $67 million with four roster spots to fill.

Chicago and a few other teams as well are going to be really scrambling and were counting on that extra couple of million.

Now's as good a time as any to re-remember why we love DL.

Ditto. Another reason why Mitchell will be playing elsewhere.

Yup. And when you got to capgeek.com and look at all the those no move/trade clauses those 3 teams have.

Then go the Kings... It's hilarious!

ALL HAIL DEAN LOMBARDI!

He will have 33y, not too old for one more tour with Kings, and contrary to some of posters here Kings will have more than enough cap room for both Williams and Stoll (there is nothing that can stop Kings giving Williams and/or Stoll contract that is similar to one Gaborik received, longer term and lesser cap hit, with no risk of any kind of cap penalty) without compromising resigning of Pearson, Toffoli, Martinez, Muzzin or Kopitar(assuming cap keeps growing to ~73-74M in '15/'16 and ~75-76M '16/'17).

Regher is only player that is unlikely to resign with Kings after his contract runs out.
Fixed. Also, I like the way Dean Lombardi transitions the younger players and the team to greater responsibilities, once the veterans leave the team.
